Such an amazing place to stop by with delicious freshly baked cakes and yummy pastries. A friendly service adds even more value to the experience.

Great place for walking by the canal, go down to the River Avon. Angelfish restaurant good value for money. Freshly cooked food. Delicious and friendly staff

Great spot. Got a mocha, tea, and slice of cake. Sadly the person who served me was quite rude and threw the mocha at me like they couldn't wait for me to leave, hence most of it was on the outside of my mug (see pic). It wasn't very nice either, quite bitter. However, the cake was lovely and I'm sure had I arrived on a day they were feeling friendlier I'd have rated higher.

What a beautiful experience, this is a definite must if you are staying locally. I was staying at the limply Stoke hotel and decided to go for breakfast on a Sunday, took a walk down the road, turned up and we had a beautiful view of all the different narrow boats, some in for repair. We ordered our breakfast, with excellent customer service and a lovely woman serving us.I had the full English, my partner had the royal Benedict (salmon and eggs) and there was Soooo much salmon excellent price for what we received! Definitely a must go and experience! And then take the walk down to the Dundas Aqueduct. Beautiful walk after beautiful food.

The staff were incredibly rude - it was like we were a hinderance just to be frequenting their establishment. And service was so slow! Food is good hence the two stars. But I was the only person there at opening time and it took 45 minutes to receive eggs Benedict. A week later thought I’d give the benefit of the doubt - queued for 30 mins, then waited another 30 mins for a sandwich. Seriously needs improvement in this regard!

Beautiful to sit by the canal here having hot chocolate and fresh cooked bacon baguettes. Food is good, staff really helpful and friendly. Nice walk along the tow path . Will be back again.

·

Loved, loved loved this day out...such bloody good fun.Would definitely recommend and will be returning.Really helpful, polite lad too.(sorry,l should have taken your name tall lad on reception)The little boat's appearance could be tidier but l expect it get bashed with huge regularity!! It was clean, comfortable, reliable and being electric great for the environment.

When I stumbled upon Angelfish online, I thought it would be the kind of place that would only be safe for coffee. They actually have exemplary gluten free practices, several options and some really tasty cakes. Full 3* review at coeliacwellNES.com. At our last visit the options and coeliac enthusiasm were a bit pared down, but we look forward to coming back and rating the food options soon.
