·

Great little cafe - the toasted cheese and kale sandwich- delicious

·

Friendly service and a nice cafe to relax and people watch. Drinks were good, the food was varied, which is refreshing for a cafe, however, the food itself once served was very average.

·

Lovely food but felt really dirty, could do with a good clean, intending on visiting again so hopefully this will be rectified

·

Very cold inside. Limited menu but still managed to get the order wrong

·

Great atmosphere, great drinks and amazing food. The staff are friendly and the location and parking are very convenient.

My partner and I moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and have fallen in love with 8e. Their coffee is perfect and their food looks delicious, but, we've mostly gone on Friday evenings when they're open until 9. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, and it's been such a great place to have a beer and get to know people from the area.

I'm a local producer of veg, jam's and eggs. They use me as much as possible which is excellent for food miles - about 1! I've always loved the coffees and pastries I've had from there and would recommend if you're on the Chelsea Road.

Underwhelmed by the food and the decor is in need of some serious TLC.The Westcombe Rarebit Toastie (£5.50 each) was very disappointing Over cooked Toast but the filling was less Cheese and more Mustard.Brown mush. The Coffee looked nice but tasted like it was made using Camp Coffee out of a bottle.( £2.60 each).Sorry Guys this was sadly a very disappointing first trip out after lock down for us and we wont be coming back again until the menu and the decor is improved.By the way, if you are sharing a pen with customers it shouldn't it be cleaned each time?

Popped in for a work lunch, it was excellent. The team here were very warm and friendly, and made super suggestions on the menu. Everything on the menu looked amazing so it was hard to pick! Meal size was great and all ingredients really fresh and tasty. Social distancing adhered to indoors but there is also outside seating. Excellent coffee! They do also serve beers (and to go!) - a nice new spot for me to enjoy 😊

I really liked this place. The coffee was good, flat white as usual but impressed me most was the sourdough toast, best I've had for quite a while, loose butter not fiddly little packs and more than enough for the 4 half slices. Check out the full menu which are brunchy. Polite service with a smile.
