Had a great Sunday lunch here on a busy bank holiday weekend. The beef was lovely, the roasties exceptional, and the portion size, just right. They've a good selection of wines and the beer is very good too. Will definitely go back.

Great little pub right in towne center. Fish and chips were good as were the mussels. Pop in for a quick pint and small eats. Earlier in the day and you won't need a reservation. Plenty of outdoor dining.

It must have been 15 years since I was here before. It used to be a more traditional pub (and we'll know gay pub). Now it's more like a restaurant (restaurant-style tables and chairs in both bars). It may be a great place to eat, but I felt lacking a bit of atmosphere if you just want a drink.

Enjoyed a lovely light lunch by the fire! Celeriac and Apple soup with chunky focaccia and the Bath Chaps were hot and delicious. A perfect rainy day lunch stop. Will definitely return.

Posh pie and mash a winner....mushroom and chicken, atop a bed of creamy tatties separated with some lovely piquant pickled cabbage and covered with lashings of tasty gravy. Good selection of digestifs too.

Food was good, service bit slow but it was really busy and they looked short staffed. Overall wasn't too bad. They were very accommodating

The best experience if you’re in bath come to this pub…the best service from Ruth out the front. I’ve been to Michelin star restaurants and not had the same service. Ruth deserved the recognition!! She is an asset to your team! Thank you Ruth!

A bit more on the expensive side but has a top quality fish and chips with great cider on tap too. Truffle and parmesan chips were also amazing.

Super friendly staff and very efficient and attentive. Ordered our drinks and food, and it was all ready within 15 minutes. The food was AMAZING!!

We stumbled across this place on our visit to Bath and had lunch here, the food was fantastic and came out in really good time with no complaints from us.The decor was Georgian and very fresh and clean with very a attentive front of house team who asked how our food was etc.The grumble I have is the price and the added service charge which I thought was an American "thing"? But I am told Bath is on par with London prices anyway.
