Great place for cakes and dining. Also really dog friendly with the converted sheds out the back. We come here all the time.

The hot chocolate was hot, actually it was very hot which is a good thing in my book.Ambience is pleasant, bright and calm. No background music to hinder conversation. Minor disappointment was the lack of healthy snacks, only high carb cakes. So 4*.

Really lovely food. A great selection of cakes but not much for vegans or those with other dietary requirements. There are a couple of cosy cabins in the garden which are perfect for a quiet cuppa.

Had an amazing flat white and lemon drizzle cake. I can't emphasise what good quality coffee they do!Andy & Lucy were wonderful hosts!

The Meeting Place which was formerly 'Mandy's Discount Store' selling cheap bric-a-brac, is now run and owned by a local couple. Community orientated with a Christian feel to the place, there are connections to local churches and good deeds. The general appearence is clean, uncluttered and the ambience affable.A fine selection, but not extensive selection of teas and coffees available. There is also an as yet, unexploited back garden. Ideas about BBQ's and the like are still thoughts in progress - but more on this later - watch this space.Outside seating will be popular in pleasant weather - drinking coffee, having a light bite while being amused by the confusion of the passing traffic. will while away many a moment. No alchohol, but the bacon butties are to die for. Repeat visits assured.
