The Royal Dragon takeaway in Bath and North East Somerset

Ordered via Just Eat, after around 40 minutes we received an update that our order was out for delivery and then, shortly after this, we received a text from Just Eat advising us that our order had been cancelled as they were “unable to make it”. Disappointed and hungry. Shan’t be ordering from them again.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL SERVICE. WAIT 50 MINUTES FOR MY DELIVERY TO BE TOLD LAST MINUTE THEY CANT DELIVER AS DONT HAVE ANY DRIVERS. I would advise EVERYONE to stay away from this awful serviced restaurant seeing as it also got a food rating of 2

Absolutely awful. I STRONGLY advise not to go here. We ordered and the food didn’t even come for another TWO HOURS. Absolutely dreadful. We kept calling and the man said “it’ll only be another 5 minutes” every time… Tried calling to cancel and get a refund but they didn’t even answer. Absolutely disgusted by this. Expect a full refund

Awful. 'Prawn toasts' were actually full of chicken and the egg fried rice was normal rice with some dark soy and a couple of the tiniest pieces of scrambled egg. Will not try again.

Used to be our favourite Chinese take away but recently prices have gone up and portion sizes have been reduced dramatically. Asked for food to be peanut free, when it arrived one of the dishes had peanuts in, when we rang to complain the restaurant agreed to refund the dish. Prawn crackers were stale. Will try another take away next time.

Worst Chinese ever. Took almost 2 hours to get here and it was cold. They didn't answer the phone when I tried to call to find out where it was. So I drove down to the shop which was quiet. They shouted at me tell saying" it's being delivered"

Despite ordering 2 hours in advance, the food was 45 minutes late being delivered. There was a couple bits missing. What did arrive was good, but the delay and lack of accuracy is frustrating

Ordered my takeaway from Just Eat. The food is good for it's price. The restaurant was kind to send me free Prawn crackers. The only downside is its long delivery time. Order in advance if you are going to get hungry soon!

Ordered a takeaway for delivery tonight through just eat. The order was confirmed by the restaurant at 6pm with a confirmation of 7.05 for delivery time. At 7pm I received a text to say the food was on its way. Great! I got plates out ready and awaited the knock at the door. I then received another message saying the Royal Dragon had cancelled my order. I called the restaurant and asked if there had been a mistake but apparently not. They waited until the confirmed delivery time to tell me they couldn’t deliver the food. I asked why they confirmed the order and then sent a text saying they were on their way but the staff member had no answers. Won’t use again, if the order had been cancelled when placed then we would have been given the opportunity to order somewhere else but when left until the last minute there’s no excuse. Would avoid if you don’t want to run the risk of your food not arriving!

Thought we'd give the Royal Dragon a try and were disappointed.Delivered luke warm, the Chinese Chicken Curry was poor quality meat slices, processed and rubbery. Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls were too dry, Chips were pretty much as you'd expect from any Chinese only the Boiled Rice was to our liking and we could have knocked that up at home in 12 minutes.
