Thank you very much Thoughtful Bakery! The owner is very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Really made us feel welcome and added to our experience during our visit on a Friday evening. They were serving cocktails and light bites, along with the baked goods and pastries on the counter. The food and drinks were lovely, with amazing staff to match. If you’re in Bath then I highly recommend visiting!

Delicious vegan bap served here or for takeaway. They also have few vegan desserts that look so delicious. Really wish they would have vegan croissants or other pastries.

A brilliant cafe and great venue in the heart of Bath which we've used to host several of our charity events. The atmosphere, staff and food is excellent and we'll be running plenty more events at the bakery in the future. We would highly recommend :)

Brilliant bakery! We tried couple of different desserts, got some bread and cinnamon rolls- everything was really really good. Great quality, fresh, and felt like made with love. The staff was super positive and helpful. Can't recommend enough.

Attended the baking school but also had an opportunity to try pastries, cakes, lunch and coffee's. Fantastic team. Lovely shop full of interesting fare including things to take home. Great ethos. A top Indie bakery project! Highly recommend a day learning to bake with Duncan and his colleagues. Thanks gang :)

I attended the Sourdough Bread Making course yesterday and would throughly recommend it. We made white sourdough, and rye bread and bagels. I was a complete beginner, but the baker, Duncan, was incredibly patient and excellent at demonstrating and explaining exactly what we had to do and why. He certainly has a passion for sourdough, was was infectious. We were also given a delicious lunch and cakes! An excellent day and very good value.

There are bakeries and then there are thoughtful bakeries! This is a quality bakery nestled in the centre of Bath, great coffee, the finest of bacon sour dough sandwiches and for the sweet toothed out there if you've yet to experience the taste senstation that is a 'cruffin' (a muffin baked croissant with a filling) then you're in for a delightful surprise!

Amazing day at thoughtful bakery. We were on a sourdough course and came home laiden with goods; amazingly well fed with pastries to start, a beautiful lunch and then cakes. The staff were so helpful and kind. The course was very thorough and Duncan was patient and full of very useful tips and hints. Can't wait to put it all to the test.Our second course at thoughtful bakery was a delight. Sourdough last time and croissants this time. The teachers were so patient and full of useful hints and tips. The added bonus of lovely tea, coffee, an amazing lunch really made it quite exceptional. The teacher to student ratio was very high which gave it a very personal feel. 5 stars just are not enough!

Really nice and super tasty breakfast selection from pastries, drinks, and sandwiches. Definitely recommend! Bacon was nice and smoky rather than crispy but tasted great.

Fantastic lunch was had by all and we felt very lucky to have found such a fantastic place for an easy, casual lunch washed down with Prosecco in the afternoon sun! Fish was beautifully cooked and tasted so fresh. Baked goods were an amazing treat as I dont usually get dessert, but glad for it as they were so well made. We loved also that all the baked goods are made in-house (including the ice-cream!) All dietary requirements were happily met. Personally I loved how seasonal my dish felt, with the Mackerel on rye croute and the addition of pickled Loganberries, Redcurrants and fermented Mirabelle plums. Highly recommend for those that particularly seek out restaurants with an ethos to providing local, sustainable, transparent food fare. Great work Thoughtful Bakery!
