Velo Lounge in Bath and North East Somerset

The locals recommended the Velo Lounge and what a great recommendation. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Husband had the Lounge burger and I had the Katso chicken burger. Portions are just the right size. Lovely atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming and attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in Bath

The manager was amazing considering we were 4 mums with little ones and nothing was too much trouble. My daughter and I have allergies and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a spectacular meal (we ordered the big breakfast) without missing out on anything. I used to go to the Velo Lounge all the time before having a child and loved it and it's lovely to know I can keep going still. Great service and atmosphere. Tasty food.

I liked it here, good friendly vibe. Came for breakfast and had the shakshouka. The food was ok but I felt the quality of the ingredients let it down a bit. The eggs for example were cooked well but were a bit pale and lacked flavour. The chorizo was also a bit bland as chorizo goes. But otherwise a nice place to visit!

Very vibrant & youthful atmosphere & a great place to find food if you have intolerances, allergies, vegan or vegetarian or want to bring your dogs. Really tasty coffee (even the decaf with oat milk), freshly squeezed orange juice available & treats for the dogs. They even will give you a water bowl for your dog if you've forgotten yours. We only waited 5 minutes for a table even though it was busy & service was very quick. Parking might be tricky as it is on street, but well worth it if you can get here!

We used to come here regularly as students over a decade ago. The food is still great. Lots of lovely memories.

This belongs to a well-known chain. It is warm-lit inside, with marvellous, classic decor.The selection of drinks is decent, and the food isn't bad, although it doesn't classify as great either. Don't expect a VIP treatment, as you won't get one.It's a simple place to go grab drinks in a nice setting, with maybe a bite of food.

Another great stop in the always reliable Lounge restuarants. The staff here were lovely and the food just as nice as we'd expect. Still love the 'order at table' option, which makes everything so more simpler.

I attended Velo loung late satarday morning of December 4th 2021 with my family, we had walked from Bath City centre and were looking forward to a lovely brunch, unfortunately our visit was not as good as it should have been, we placed quite a large order and overall the food was great, however my wife ordered lounge eggs with bacon and when they were served to our table they were over done, poached eggs should be runny and not hard like boiled eggs. We advised the waitress and were told that they would make some fresh eggs great 4stars I thought, then came the bomb there is a 45 minute wait for food at the moment, at this I asked to speak with the manager, she came and told us the same 45 min wait. I said that this was unacceptable as we wanted to eat as a family she told me they were short of chefs and she refunded me the cost of the eggs £6.95 our total bill was over £90. To be honest the rest of the food was great and the environment was cosy but the customer service has a lot of questions to be answered especially when there is an issue. We plan on attending the Chippenham branch next fingers crossed we have a better experience.

Nice place but a bit noisy clanking of crockery out of the dishwasher .... Note to self... Do not sit near counter... Food looks and tastes great definitely going there again 👍

Went there for brunch. Freshly squeezed orange juice was very fresh, as expected. Pancakes with bacon and maple syrup was good. Service was friendly and efficient despite being extremely busy. Very well priced! Lost a star because the music was a little too loud to have a proper conversation.
