1812 Bar and Restaurant in Bournemouth

Incredibly picky about dress code. Came in normal trousers, black trainers and jumper. Apparently no trainers accepted at all! And we aren't allowed to be warm?

Nice bar staff. Top cocktails. Big venue.

We decided to host a few drinks for my wife's birthday celebration with some friends. We organised a section of the venue, so we had a private area for our friends. The bar service and quality of drinks is excellent and live band created a party and fun atmosphere.We would like to thank the team for their excellent communication and first class service in arranging everything prior and during the night, in particular the bar manager (although I didn't get his name). You can only assume they have a great management team who ask for high standards to deliver a great experience for their customers.Thanks to all 1821 staff.

Absolutely love the atmosphere and vibe of this place . Total mix of age groups together it caters for all, I've been there with my 18 year old son and my 40 something childhood friends . The live bands they have are brilliant it is absolutely impossible to stay in your seat in this place, you cant help but get up and dance with the soul and funk live music. I've only been on a Friday or Saturday night when they have their live bands so cant speak for other nights . Went there for a Christmas celebration and for my birthday last night never disappointed. The decor is classy and it is always busy but never uncomfortably so, anyone visiting Bournemouth needs to check it out . Staff are lovely and look after their customers and weve always been able to walk In and get a good seat. Obviously cocktails are cocktail prices but they do offer a good range of other drinks too , definately check this place out .

I really love the bar staff here, especially the guy with a lot of tattoos, he is an exquisite cocktail maker, my husband and I really enjoyed our time here and his cocktails and his really friendly and knowledgeable service, also loving the live music.

Great night out - music from the band was actually very very good. Drinks range exceptional - typical Bournemouth prices that make me wince every round. Staff friendly and service time about average. Quite well laid out with a very modern chic feel and the toilets are kept in a very high state of cleanliness.

Incredible!! Where to start?? Let’s go with the food, wonderfully crafted dishes and an extensive pizza menu from the wood fired oven, incredible flavours that are authenticity Italian. Fantastic service with friendly and knowledgeable staff, made us feel like we back in Italy. The restaurant itself is modern and has a great vibe. Highly recommend. We’ll be back soon.

Great place to visit for a cocktail. The interior decor is classy and the cocktails are the best we've had for a long time. I recommend the Sideline.. and it's especially good at happy hour! A*

Fun night with a live band! They have a great (good quality) drinks selection and attentive bar staff. The only thing I'd recommend they do is dim the lights when the band are on to create some ambience. Would come here again!

Great place to chill at the lounge bar or dine in the restaurant 🍴 There is a stage for live music 🎶 And their 🍹 are second to none. They have Happy hour daily from 5 - 7 Pm only £6 !
