We always appreciate finding local places as genuine as Binnies - No frills, no high expectations, just a small but busy old english cafe, full of life thanks to the local community, and where the best marketing is word of mouth and basic, simple, traditional food, cooked to order and always served with a smile.Of course, their specialty is breakfast, and today we have been able to enjoy it for the first time - and won't be the last, especially considering that we ended up paying around £13 for the biggest breakfast on the menu (HUGE, toasts, orange juice and coffee included), an extra portion of mushrooms and 2 extra slices of toast with butter (and unlimited ketchup and brown sauce too!). All the food tasted fresh and was cooked to order, so definitely worth the wait. The menu also includes lunch and snack options like jacket potatoes, hot and cold sandwiches/rolls/baguettes, burgers, shakes and so on!Prices are very, very reasonable so we will definitely come back to try other delicious options!Show les

When comparing prices, quality and overall value this is one of the best cafes I've been too in a long time. Tea or coffee as well as orange or apple juice is included in the breakfast, which is an really nice touch. The food arrived in good time, all "seemed" freshly cooked and you can tell this came from someone who knows their stuff.I think my only 2 gripes (if you can even call them that) is that the sausage wasn't brilliant and the OJ glass was a little small. But considering the latter is a bonus I wasn't going to complain.I think I've found my new local cafe so I'll be visiting again soon enough

Visited binnies for two consecutive days. On both occasions really satisfied with the fast service, food was very tastey , glad cafes like these still exist

Service was very fast which is a massive positive in its favour. Sadly the overall quality of the food was not the greatest, likewise for the hot chocolate. Good value for money however, all hot drinks were only just over £2 and the most expensive items were nearly all under £10.

Good honest breakfast at very reasonable prices, worth another visit.

Their slogan is "best breakfast in Bournemouth". It's really good, but the claim might be pushing the boundaries of reality a bit. We ordered 2 X number 3 breakfasts and a "Magnificent 7". I would say the glass of orange juice which comes with the meal is very stingy. Not a much bigger than a shot glass. However, it's still a nice touch. Shame some of the breakfasts don't come with a cuppa though. Hot drinks are not included on every option. I also noticed when I got my "Magnificent 7" does not come with toast! This is in my opinion an essential part of English breakfast. I also like just buttered bread to wipe up with. This should be addressed. There is also a claim that the breakfast is guaranteed to be the best in town. I don't think it is, although it's very good. I would be interested to see how far that claim goes, and what the guarantee covers. In my opinion, the breakfast at Conto Lounge is better, but also more expensive. There does not seem to be any efforts made by the management to make the business "Covid19 safe" no screens and tables are closer than guidelines would recommend currently. The plus sides are that everything we got was well cooked well. The fies eggs were perfect.I would like the owners to reply to this message, giving me a clear outline and details regarding their guarantee they claim to have.
