A chilled, welcoming and relaxed place and staff are so lovely and welcoming. ( especially the owner) . The food is simple, homemade and tastes beautiful . I always feel a nice ‘ homely’ feel when I go there. A great place to meet up with old friends and family and escape from the hectic world.

We have been coming to Baraca for around 4 years and we still love it. Everyone has that one little restaurant and this is ours. Good food, good prices and there is always tables.The business is run by a husband and wife and is family run, lovely.

We came here for dinner during a weeknight on vacation. The atmosphere was nice; however, it was pretty warm inside, wish there was some fan circulating to get a breeze. We ordered a variety of food such as the calamari, chicken wings, chicken shish, mixed shish, prawns and iskender. The chicken was very moist even though it was the breast and had a lovely charred taste to it. They gave us complimentary platters of olives, dips and pita bread. Their chili lime marinara sauce was AMAZING! I asked the waitress if the sauce was for sale and thankfully it was, I bought 4 jars! An overall nice experience and delicious food for the night. Definitely would recommend.

Me and my friends decided to pick on Saturday different restaurants we came across this one. the place looked welcoming, the owners where very helpful and friendly. I don't normally eat different types of food but I thought I would give it ago. I was looking through the menu and came across spicy Sausage with Salad halloumi cheese rice and pit bread when it was put on the table the smell was amazing and food was well Presented and the Taste was divine. I Recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely be back.

Great take away experienceWe decided to try food from here and had a lovely range of treats. We went for some humus, falafel, spicy sausages and the sharing mixed grill meze, with plenty of bread included. The food was very well packed and tasted very fresh and flavoursome. The falafel were rather large and a little dry but overall everything was delicious. Lots of food, with a 20% discount bonus for take away service. A great choice and definite addition to our selection of eat out meals... many thanks Baraca

As a vegan who doesn't eat vegan junk and processed foods, such as soya, tofu, pasta or vegan fake meats, it is often a challenge to find quality food when out.Not so in the Charminster area of Bournemouth, which is home to many international restaurants.From Japanese to Middle Eastern, as well as the usual British food, it's all here.And for us health eating vegans, it's the middle eastern ones that offer the best choices.Tabouleh, Humus, Saksuka...all vegan, nourishing, freshly made and delicious.I also highly recommend the fresh mint tea.Barraca is a lovely restaurant, with lots of nice touches in the decor. And the food is delicious. My photo shows a few of the dishes we enjoyed.Highly recommended. 👍

If you really want to eat Turkish food, I recommend you to go there. The food was neat and the staff was kind. It reminds me of the owner who greeted us cheerfully.But the price seems to be a little expensive. It would be nice to have a student discount. It is a burdensome price for students to go and eat.🙋🏻‍♀️
