California Fried Chicken & Pizza in Bournemouth

Been here a couple of times recently with my partner, always quick service and the food has been excellent, I'm a fussy eater so not the easiest to please either! Much better value than McDonald's and much more filling.

Ordered a pizza and didnt realise until i got home that the base was bbq sauce (it didn't say this on the menu in the shop - i hate bbq sauce and would never order anything with it on). Tried a slice since i paid £12.. bbq sauce aside, it was a terrible pizza.. sickly sloppy mush. Definitely won't go there again

Possibly the rudest staff I've ever experienced. Simply asked the guy at the counter if I could have my doner kebab well cooked and he flat out refused and said they're too busy to cook it longer. I honestly thought he was joking and laughed and he then said he was serious and you get it how they serve it. I will never step foot in the place again.

Had a 2 piece chicken and chips. Chicken was super dry and the skin was soggy, the fries were rubbery like they had been sat under hot lights for hours. 100% do not ever eat here EVER !!!!

Pizzas and baguettes and salads/milkshakes are delicious!! Id say the pizzas actually are the BEST in Poole!! Kebabs sometimes good sometimes not depending on what part of meat is cut!

Bought 2 kebabs here friday,one doner and one shish.satutday spent most of the day/night with sickness and diarrhoea and stomach cramps.my doner was cold and the shish wasn't much hotter and they were collected and not delivered.will not be going there again!!!

Would give 0 stars if I could, ordered kebab meat chips and cheese, it was stone cold and half the kebab meat was raw. A garlic bread with cheese, sausage, onion and bacon. 3 tiny slices of sausage hardly any onion or bacon and no cheese, chips were like rubber.Called to complain was told no refunds but they would send another order so I said no I'll take the order back myself. The 2 guys in the shop couldn't care less and actually laughed at me. The shop was filthy with old food everywhere, flies all around and one of the guys was scratching in places I don't want to mention.I emailed my complaint to admin as I was told asking for a refund and have just been threatened with legal action if I use the pictures taken, so here you go, here's the pictures

Gave a good review previously but tonight took over an hour and food was undercooked and cold. Super disappointing. - this review was from a year ago, have ordered a few times since and has been ok but tonight found a hair in the pizza and was refused a refund. Will never order from here again.

I used to order a lot from here after a long day from work. I have been told by all my friends and colleague not to order from here as the food hygiene rate hit 0, 2 years ago and that they found hair and bit of nail in their food. I thought that this place has changed and improved as the food hygiene is now a 5 but when i ordered i have also found hair in my coleslaw.. i have also ordered a 500ml Fanta bottle but they delivered me a 330ml can? Please don't order from here guys.. Also the chips taste like rubber.

We ordered two kebab wraps from California Fried Chicken. They arrived and were stone cold, so we phoned up and they sent more out and took back the old ones. When Lukas opened up his replacement, we were greeted by thick, black HAIR. Disgusting. We phoned up Cali and they agreed to send another one out. Ten minutes later, we get a call saying their store is refusing to send another one out, they also can't refund us and 'sorry, there's nothing I can do'.Upon further inspection, we also found a grey beard hair/pube/whatever it was. A grey hair further in.The worst part? When we told the woman on the phone we found a hair, she went 'oh yeah we get that a lot'.Absolutely disgusting.
