A lot of variety of dishes but the food is bland and tasteless, the taste is not homogeneous. First and last time we ordered here, a shame because we live around the corner. .

Food very tasty and well presented. Good portion sizes and value for money. Best takeaway I’ve had fm recently! Would have given five stars if lady the who took the order over the phone would have been more friendly and helpful.

China Town is by far the best Chinese takeaway in Bournemouth! Myself, my partner and my family have ordered from them so many times and every single time the food has been incredible and tasted delicious! The food is never late and they've never got an order wrong. The food arrives quickly, hot, fresh and it's good value for money. Our favourite Chinese takeaway!

I've been going to this takeaway for 7 years, and every time without fail it's DELICIOUS! and the staff are so nice :D I suggest the chowmein dishes and the duck with pancakes.

This was our first time ordering from China town, was recommended by my auntie so we gave it a try and glad we did, the food was amazing and there chicken and cheese pancake rolls are yummy. Will definitely be ordering from them again

Rude abrupt service & staff. Refused to take contactless or credit card for orders less than £10. Went elsewhere ie to CHINA CITY takeaway, where they were more than happy to oblige with my order and payment requirements. Avoid.

Have used this takeaway in the past many times , but not recently . Very disappointed with the quality this time round . Ordered for 10 people and got half a bag of prawn crackers ( a full one would have been nice ! ) and 2 fortune cookies a long with with what we had ordered .

To celebrate my birthday we had 9 friends round and ordered £65 worth of food.Three meals were unedable, two black bean sauce meals was exstremely over hot and a chicken curry was full of pepper.I called China Town back during our meal, and was greeted by a girl called Becky. She denied everything i was saying and said they weren't over spicy and they never put pepper in the curry. She clearly needs some further customer service training and said "well what do you want me to do about it My Love".At the time i said a £5.00 credit next time would be nice...but three meals cost me over £15.00.We have used China Town for over 8 year proberly even longer...always been very good but clearly service is slipping somewhere.I am very disapointed in not being offered a full refund on the poor quality meals. It would be nice to be contacted by the owner after such poor service.

Had food from here before and thought it was lovely! had it tonight we spent £60 it was awful! crispy lamb was black and burnt and had bones in. Spring rolls, prawn toast and seaweed were all extremely greasy will not be eating from here again

It is my local Chinese, I order here regularly, generally for delivery but have gone in and ordered several times too.I have always found the food to be good, the service to be polite and quick. The shop itself has always appeared clean and tidy with a sofa to sit on as well as magazines to read whilst you wait. There was one occasion where an error was made with the contents of the order. I cannot falter the service that I received. Apologetic was an understatement. Not only did then then rectify the issue, free chips, and drinks were provided at no cost as way of an apology.Often ordering for just two of us, but have ordered for8 or so people before and found no change in quality or speed of service.Often receive a 'free' item with the order. There is another Chinese within a few hundred metres of this one. I have no desire to try it because I am afraid it will not live up to the standard set by China Town. Whilst I live where I do, they will be my number 1 choice for take away.
