Cooper Dean Arms Harvester in Bournemouth

A really nice Harvester. Although the menu is standard, in my experience, harvesters can vary quality wise and accommodation wise but this one is very nice. There was a nice atmosphere in the place and the staff were all very helpful. The food was cooked nicely too. Will definitely return in the future!

I was really impressed by staff. Very professional, helpful and attentive. Great service. We didn't wait for long for our order. Food excellent. One of the best experiences.

Edit We were there Thursday! and the restaurant was almost empty. We were shown to our seats with just the main menus. There was no one serving salad one!We had eaten here previously and had enjoyed our meal. We had been served by an attentive member of staff who went out of his way to make our visit a good one. We booked again to eat there this week. Our experience was totally different. Several staff just walked past as we were waiting at reception. When we were seated we wondered if there was a menu specifically for lunch. As there were no staff members in sight I got up and asked a man at the bar. Upon sitting down we found that he had given us dessert menus. At this point my daughter said that she wanted to leave as the place didn't appear very clean . Noone seemed aware of the fact that we walked out. We had a lovely meal elsewhere , with attentive polite staff in clean surroundings.

Very nice meal and sweet,as well as 50% mains my wife and I had two courses bill just over £25 absolute bargain🙂👍🏻

Booked table for 5:30 2 people. Waited a while at the door to be seated was barely a hello just “we’ve just had a table of 17 order so there will be a half an hour wait at least” not a problem… got sat down and waited for anyone to come see us to take order waited 20 minutes and hearing all the servers talking just put us off, without sounding horrible typical chav servers with no hospitality training or manners. Other than the table of 17 they weren’t over run, used to frequently visit the alum chine and alder hills at the height of summer and got served quicker and better service. We just got up and left and went somewhere better and cheaper. Can’t say I’ll return harvester has gone way down hill and is no longer a special place to eat.

Quite for the holidays but then that's the situation these days. Food good and service fine. Covid precautions also good. Spaced seating and they serve you from the salad bar. Refill drinks still on and those are self-service.

Service was good, food was a bit rubbish last time. Over cooked chicken and plate looked a bit empty. Normally it comes with chicken strips but this time was just an overdone big piece. The chicken stack, coleslaw did come in a pot but stacked it on top.

Well this Pub meal was really lovely. Couldn't fault it.I had Nachos for Starter.If you want Salad too you go to the Salad bar, and tell the server what you would like.Unlimited soft drinks.

Very disappointed we visited the harvester last night service great food was hot but unfortunately as nice as my husband s ribs look nice in the picture they tasted dreadful very dry and no flavour at all so was the chicken served with it such a same 😬

I visited The Cooper Dean on Thursday 13 August 2020 in the evening. I was with two other people. I've visited this Harvester a number of times.I parked in the car park right outside the restaurant - parking was easy.The restaurant comprises of a couple of fairly large sized dining areas with plenty of tables with full table service.The team are very friendly and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.I enjoyed the Dirty Burger with Dirty Fries. The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was good value for money, I paid around £18 including unlimited drinks.Overall I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely come and visit again.
