Dragon Inn Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway in Bournemouth

You need to stop using microwaves I ordered my dinner and it was with me within about 2 minutes previously I was inside the shop and all I heard was beep for one thing beep for the other thing don't use microwaves to cook Chinese

Outstanding! Really enjoyed my take away tonight, really tasty fantastic portion size!

This place has gone right down hill since having a new owner, myself & my family would regularly order from here & it had an amazing vegetarian selection better than most other Chinese in the area, fairly priced, good food, along with lovely staff & the phones would be ringing off the hook however I managed to get through first time every time I called that should have told me something... the guy on the phone was honestly so so lovely when he asked the new owner if I could have a vegetarian selection like they used to do (they have a meat one but not veggie) said I’d pay the same price the owner refused, food arrived in good time but they have not only put the prices up but changed the food we always order the same thing, prawn toast was hard over cooked & awful, the Singapore special fried rice was so spicy even my partner who likes spice said it was too much & tasted awful, the dragon inn special curry had also changed was so watery & just not nice at all ... it’s such a shame because dragon inn when it was with the old owners had such a good reputation & it’s now majorly gone down hill & are now left trying to find a new Chinese takeaway because we will never order from here again

The worst food we've ever had. Disgraceful. Ribs were dry and tough and it didn't state they come submerged with an lb of onions, spring rolls were undercooked, red curry was some spicy gloopy substance with onions and 2 prawns, duck dish was smelling so bad that went straight in the bin. There was more large chunks of onion in that dish than anything else. Avoid like a plague!

Another great takeaway from Dragon Inn. They offer an extensive vegetarian selection which is the best in town! Try their vegetarian hot & sour soup, crispy vege duck & pancakes, crispy bean curd with salt & pepper or vege satay skewers. These are just some of our favourites. Loyal customers for years.

Amazing food. These guys nail it every time. Never had a bad meal from them. Great spring rolls, great chow mein, great sweet and sour sauce, just awesome. Thanks for all the great meals!

Food is always delivered on time it's always hot and tastes amazing . Very good value for money . Always so polite . Would highly recommend best Chinese around definitely !!!

I'm new in town and and I desperately need rice. So this restaurant was suggested to me by my landlady. I got chicken fried rice and crispy king prawns and it was delicious. Maybe it'll be my go to restaurant till the time I'll be Bournemouth!!. Thank you for your service.

We ordered this evening (25th April 2021), this takeaway has been our go-to choice for the past year as it’s never disappointed. However on this occasion the food arrived very quickly and it was vile!!Can only assume it’s been re-heated, the chow mien was tasteless, my prawn main had an odd metallic taste, the meat was chewy and chips were rock-hard. My partners main tasted strongly of garlic and not much else.Waste of £30 as it’s all gone in the bin, safe to say we are now going to have to find another Chinese takeaway for future orders!!

Food is amazing as always-top class! One of the best Chinese takeaway within the area. Never fails to disappoint, food arrives in time and always hot. Thank you for all your hard work.
