Eastern Eye is a first class Indian takeaway. The chefs Sam & Ain are top class . When it comes to cooking Indian food. What I like is walking into the premises. Then watching 6ft away. Sam & Ain cooking right in front of you. A top quality of food and taste and flavour. I would highly recommend this Indian takeaway. Also the friendly welcome and the atmosphere. Which makes it feel like a family event.

Really tasty food. We ordered 6 curries and they were all great. The chicken was lovely and tender in all of our dishes. Fantastic!

Ordered a chicken jalfrezi, I thought they'd made a mistake and delivered a vegetarian curry by mistake as it had no chicken! Called to tell them of their mistake and the owner told me it did have chicken and he had made it himself. On close inspection turning it over again and again it did have 2 or 3 small pieces of chicken. I've ordered chicken jalfrezi from many decent Indian takeaways and never had this before. total joke. Surprised this place doesn't sell a single grain of rice as a portion of rice "well there was rice there, we didn't say how much there would be" which was basically the owner's argument for selling a chicken jalfrezi that was all jalfrezi and no chicken!Not that cheap either considering they sell 95% meat free food as "chicken". Avoid.

Absolutely by far ..... the BEST INDIAN TAKE AWAY IN TOWN!! We have been loyal customers for over 15 years wouldn't go anyway else. Really lovely family run business.. Delicious authentic cuisine..

Despite having ordered many times and being very pleased with the food and service, my partner got food poisoning from here and it has unfortunately put us off ever coming back.Have yet to have anything resolved concerning the bad order.

Fantastic food. Family run. I've used this place as a restaurant and takeaway for the past 15 years and NEVER had a bad meal! Very friendly staff. The owner is a fantastic guy who still works in the kitchen at times. I would recommend this place to anyone. The only drawback is that it's only a takeaway now but still remains the best Indian takeaway in Bournemouth in my opinion.
