Eden Cafe & Bar in Bournemouth

If you smoke you’ll love it. You can basically smoke indoors. How they get away with it is beyond me. They have a canopy they can open “on request”. Doesn’t do much for the air quality even when open, you can’t breathe in there for smokers. Avoid if you’re Asthmatic or like clean air.

Very nice friendly staff and owner. Happy hour until 8 with great cocktails. Decor was lovely and the place was lovely and warm with overhead heaters. Music was provided by a sole male singer with guitar and was very good. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Great cocktails, lovely people, can't stop coming back!We've been here a few times as a couple since it opened, the table booking deposit covers the first few drinks, which is great, and the staff are always very welcoming and helpful.The drinks are also fantastic, I myself can't stop drinking the Cosmos or Brambles which are some of the best I've had in Bournemouth, and comparable in price to many other places nearby. It's also not too busy when we go (between 4-6pm) but seems to get busier after that.They also have heaters nearby the booths that are great at keeping you warm, and the roof retracts, so on cold winter evenings you stay nice and cosy!Definitely recommend a visit!

Really cool bar! Great staff! Spiced rum and Zombie cocktail to die for ... Next time I visit Bournemouth, this is my watering hole!

Absolutely appauling service. Stinking attitude on door staff, wouldn't let us in saying there were no tables when we could clearly see they were empty from outside. Came all the wayfrom other side of country. Would not grace them with our presence again. Keep your money and your dignity. Go somewhere else.In response to your reply your door staff need to speak to people polietly and explain this then or have clear signs explaining that you do not accept walk in's at your "exclusive bar."Looks like it's just for locals guys so any tourists reading this save your self the embarrasment of being turned away.

Decent spot. Great service and staff were very interactive with us. Little pricey, but I think thats just me being a northerner in a South coast bar. 👌

Great cocktails, lovely and strong ! The zombie was perfect. Staff were lovely. Harry was serving us and was very good at the job. The manager was a great laugh too. Was pretty lively even on a Wednesday night.

Visiting Bournemouth with my girlfriend, booked a table ahead for us, 25 quid deposit but comes off your bill so not an issue. Really cool place, especially with the current covid rules, it's an outside bar but table had a heater you could control by pressing a button in the booth so didn't feel cold at all, neither of us needed a coat, if it starts to rain, they have a electronic fabric covering that stops anyone getting wet, great idea.Cocktails were spot on, really nice, not too strong but also not weakened with too much juice/ice. Prices were average for cocktails, this place would be perfect if they had happy hours or offers, but understand that may not be the case at the moment due to the trade of the last year.Final point, bar men were great, really friendly and down to earth, also knew their cocktails which isn't always the case with barmen, so that was helpful too, really great place, great vibe and we will be coming back when we're down that way again.

Fantastic cocktails but disappointed by their false advertising. We had planned to go here based on their happy hour and drinks package options adverised on their website, but when we arrived, we were told even though they advertise a Happy Hour very prominently on a chalk board next to the bar and on their website along with a great £50 drinks package, neither actually exist during the busy season and are only available when it's quiet in Winter.
