Forest Inn in Bournemouth

Went to the forest inn for Sunday roast on mother's Day, the food was absolutely delicious and a very healthy sized portion!The only thing I would complain about is we weren't able to accommodate our little ones dairy allergy though, and for example have only Cauliflower rather than cauliflower cheese. But aside from that, it was a great meal!

Great place for good value food. Service fast and efficient. Great menu of the day too. Full lunchtime menu..you just can't go wrong!

Ideal for a coffee or pint stop. On a winter's day. Will try again in the summer, after forest walk through Uddens Forest , Near Wimborne

The food was excellent value for money and the service was exceptional. Very happy to eat here after letting our grandsons loose on the driving range for half hour or so.

Friendly staff, tasty nachos and a good price for the large size. They were very happy to put the football on for us. Recommended. Thank you

Only called in for a coffee on this occasion after a walk. Good coffee though. Eaten on previous occasions, excellent food but a little pricey, hey, you get what you pay for so no complaints. Nice choice and freshly made. Always riendly, helpful staff. One comment, I don't like TV in pubs but it is attached to a golf club and course so it's possibly to be expected but does it have to be so loud for a football match.All that said it is a fabulous area outside in the summer and has the addition of a bar barbecue and a newly built covered area.

We come here very regularly with our dogs and love this place. Staff always lovely and accommodating. Nick and Vasek great characters. We brought a party in for Xmas lunch last week and every member of our party said it was the best Xmas dinner they'd ever had...it was fabulous. Thank you guys...keep up the good work.

Ordered pie of the day that came with mash, onion rings and onion gravy and was £13.00. It said home made and for that money we expected it to be nice. It said it was beef and mushroom. We found i tiny piece of mushroom between the two pies. The pastry was so hard we struggled to cut it let alone eat it. It had shredded beef in it that had definitely seen better days. No table check to complain about it. I do appreciate it was a very busy day. We did complain to the waitress about it but didnt get a response. Hopefully it was just a bad day for them.

We went for the set menu 'date night'. The food bowled us over, it was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations, which were already high as we have loved the takeaway hatch food. Great value for money and we will look out for the next one.

I come here fairly regularly to play golf, I thought I'd give the food a go after and definitely wasn't expecting what I got!The food is actually some of the best food I've had and is definitely worth what is charged and now enjoy regularly getting food here when I play golf!If I lived more locally I'd definitely come here more often even if it was just for a pint or food! If you happen to be nearby or a local even if you don't like golf or have just been arrested at the nearby police station then I'd definitely recommend getting some food here!
