Funki Griller Steak & Seafood Grillhouse and Cocktail Bar in Bournemouth

Really enjoy my experience everytime I come to this restaurant. The staff always greet you with a smile and are enthusiastic. Probably the best sirloin I've ever had cooked to perfection as well, love the quirky little kitchen cam so you can see your steak being cooked its a nice touch.

It was great. Service was fab and food was amazing (see photos) but when it got to desserts we were waiting 45 mins for someone to take our order. By this time we were fed up and not hungry. Asked for the bill and left. Not impressed at the end! Will come back because food was so good but not impressed at the end.

My partner and i were in Bournemouth for an overnight stay for our anniversary. Our hotel restaurant was closed due to staff shortage (covid) so on recommendation from hotel staff we made our way to funki griller and we were not dissapointed. We only booked an hour in advance, you need to book as this place is very popular. From the moment we entered the restaurant everything was 5* the gentleman who greeted us and took our order and the young lady who took care of us were superb very professional. The restaurant was quiet when we were there so would be interesting to see if the same great service applies when very busy i have no doubt it would! The restaurant itself had a laid back, relaxed vibe, music not too loud, it was clean. The icing on the cake was the food, the steaks were very good quality and cooked exactly how we like it, we had extras, proper onion rings and the peppercorn sauce tasted homemade, not the usual watered down rubbish. Wine selection good. Service prompt and attentive. prices reasonable for location. We had 2 steak meals with extras, wine and dessert with coffee and bill was £84 which is about right. I have a rule that i never tip unless everything is spot on, i was more than happy to tip here which i was assured goes to the staff as it should. Have read a few negative reviews on here but i guess some folk have to complain no matter what! We will be back soon.

We visited this restaurant this evening, and we did not make it to the mains the starters was enough to make us want to leave, I ordered the prawns - now I'm aware prawns are from the water but they are supposed to taste like tap water! My partner had the pork belly slices now I'd strongly advise if you don't have a good dentist don't order this as you will loose some teeth, it will also stone cold - red flag when your food comes out in minutes aswell stay clear there's a reason it was empty

If you are after good quality food Funki Griller is a must-visit restaurant in the heart of Bournemouth. You will require a table reservation to enjoy amazing food served by friendly staff in a nice atmosphere!

Excellent steaks and very good value for money (particularly 2x 10oz sirloin/ribeye & chips for £30 offer). Great variety in menu despite being chiefly a steakhouse. Very friendly and helpful staff too. Thank you!

Great venue. Good value for money when compared to some of the other local steal venues. Steak could have been a little more rare - I ordered medium rare. All in all would definitely recommend. Don't try this though - you will pop!

One of the best dinners I've ever had in England, since we went in everything was absolutely gorgeous.Everybody who's working there was very helpful, very kind and very organized.Restaurant was fully booked, when me and my fiance came in, we were 5 minutes earlier so we had to wait. But It was OK , we had been asked to sit on the bar and wait until our table will be prepared after previous costumers. We got our table on time.Everything what we had ordered, was quickly prepared and the taste of each drink and dish was fabulous.We've been served by very nice and friendly guy... I think named Marius, he was very helpful and the service was great.We're looking forward to another visit 😊

Fantastic food with a great selection of choices to choose from, complimented by a long list of drink options. Lovely atmosphere inside with colourful decor and a welcoming vibe. We were fortunate to have live music when we visited which really added to the ambience. Highly recommend a visit of you like grilled food.
