Grill Shack & Tiki Bar in Bournemouth

Some times reviews can be misleading!! I was recommended to try Grill Shack about 2 months ago but when i read the reviews i was wary of what to expect. I took the bull by the horn today and went there with my mate. Apart from the wonderful customer service, we were well pleased with the wide variety of delicious dishes that come at readily affordable prices.Quality of stereo was impressive too. My mate who is a fussy eater ended up ordering a second plate. :) It's a great place for a date, small to medium sized gatherings, as well as small occasions. The only limitation is the size I presume. I doubt if the place can accommodate 100 guests at the same time. I also wish they did door-to-door deliveries so some lazy people like us could just place an order online whilst watching Netflix... :)

Waited over an hour for food. Advertised Draught Coke/Diet Coke but they say they don't serve it, so had no choice but to pay £2.25 for a can to be poured into a Mason Jar!!! Total of £9 on four drinks! Having said that, the food was very tasty. The portions look small, but found it very filling. Would have rated it a four star, but wait and drinks made it a three star review

Is there an option for negative stars?!?! One of the worst restaurants i have ever been to, seriously from start to finish ... there has not been one thing good. Let’s start with the price of the food, it is definitely not worth the money. I ordered ribs for my main course, which was over £10 and only got 3 ribs! It did not fill me up and to be honest, tasted worst than an Asda ready made meal. However, this was not the worst at all, I waited 50 minutes for my meal... seriously ridiculous. The music was loud and annoying, aswell the service was not the best. I will not be visiting this restaurant ever again, it ruined my night and wasted my hard earned money!

Just had an incredible meal at the tiki bar!Amazing atmosphere, food was incredible seriously good, the goat curry amazing. Staff attentive! Clean. Everything you want for a Saturday evening meal with friends!Even get wet wipes after... bonus!

A disappointing experience. We left without eating our main course as after 40 minutes it had still not arrived and they certainly weren't busy. I accept things go wrong but they should have and told us rather than just keep us waiting. After half an hour we were told our food was just coming . At 40 minutes it needed 5 more minutes and when we said no we were told it was ready. It wasn't.The sharing starter we had was very nice and I was disappointed not to get my goat curry.As another said, I will try coming here again but not for a while.

I worked in the hospitality trade for nearly 20 years and have never known such awful service, sat for nearly an hour before they asked for the adults order, children's food came out without plates and incomplete it took 10 minutes and asking 3 times to get the chips, burger and plates. Our table was pre-booked and walk ins were eating before we were even asked for a drinks order. Totally spoiled my mum and nieces birthday meal. Best thing about the place is the music.

First time we have been to the Grill Shack in Southbourne and it was disappointing. Although the waitresses were friendly, the service was poor as they took a long time to take our order and clear the table. The chips weren't 'spicy' as ordered, the Jerk chicken was pink inside and £10 for two ribs for the main course is a rip off!

Eat here last night (31/08/17).Rather dissapointing experience.They had no ice for drinks.My veggie burger was tiny...I thought it was a Kiddie burger.Spicy fries were NOT spicy.5 small onion rings for £2.95...rip off.Atmosphere is non-existant...just a bit of Carribean style music...played rather loudly...in my opinion.A Sweet that was tiny.Oh and the old QUARTERS BURGER WET WIPES are given out. At least their Burgers were BIG !SO there you go. Pretty GRIM experience for me.

Not too expensive, attentive staff, nice decor. The food is tasty and well presented. We had an evening meal there two weeks before Christmas and we were the only people eating.

Went here as a laat minute dinner idea. Food was great. I had baked fish and it was perfect. Friendly staff and a much better atmosphere than when it was Quarters.
