Heart Of India in Bournemouth

I keep getting text messages with deals even though I never consented to receive them and there is no info on how to stop receiving them in the message. Bit of a GDPR breach here guys. Sort it out!Curries here are generally very nice though.

We thoroughly enjoyed a Sizzler Meal for 2 last night. Only a 15 minute wait and the food was perfect. Plenty of meat and a great flavour. Heart of India is definitely our go-to Curry take-away

Shocking just shocking avoid at all cost you phone up to complain and they say your being racist. Utter rubbish and food not much better if it was a sit down meal id have refused to pay

Avoid big time! - ordered meals for 6 people, they missed a meal and when I called to query this they said it was my fault as they couldn't hear me (even though they read back 6 meals!). Staff were rude and made us pay for their mistake, which they over charged us for. We were charged at a much higher cost to their online menu and this was again different to the prices on the paper menu. They also took over 30 minutes to deliver the missed meal and overall the food was not great. We will not be ordering from here again. Gave one star and this was generous!

Wow, I used to order from this takeaway weekly but haven't ordered for a few years now having moved away from the area. I Returned today to find this place seriously gone down hill. My first impression of the shop was it looked dirty and staff were ignorant but I tried not to be put off and staying positive. Having returned home to eat my meal I was very disappointed. The food was awful and nowhere near the standard it once was. I can honestly say I won't be going out of my way again to return . R.I.P heart of india

AVOID - The food was delivered 30 mins late. Everything was cold and had to be microwaved. The 'lamb' was almost certainly mutton and was tough and stringy, the naan bread was like a piece of leather (literally couldn't tear it!) and the Poppadoms were all smashed and broken. Definitely won't be ordering from here again. It was the worst take away we've ever had!

Efficient service pleasant staff, good choice of different curries have used it many times as its nearest takeaway.

The food had to be reheated as was only warm. The chicken tikka masala and chicken korma tasted exactly the same. The only difference was that one was a vivid pinky red and the other was a lurid yellow. They just tasted sugary and not much else. The rainbow hue of the rice was unnecessary. The mango chutney was a brightly coloured sweet red liquid. The bhajis were the best part.

Good curry, good prices, friendly people. Our favourite local curry takeaway. This is take away only, no table service.

This takeaway is amazing. delicious fresh served food. I never go any where alse. I would and do recommend this takeaway and they have a traditional tandoori oven which adds authentic flavors. a+
