We had the most delicious milk shake ever here. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and nice. Highly Recommend

Nice little place to nip into and good food too. Only down side was no toilet was available so had to scurry off to the ones just off saxon Square which my girlfriend had to do so her tea was getting cold. Other than that, not a problem.

Having just returned from Belgium our new favourite is waffles! So having tried the coffee and cakes here before, we treated ourselves to a waffle. The lady told us they were quite big so we shared one. We couldn't decide on one topping so she offered to cut it in half and put a different topping on each half - perfect!Ok, so the actual waffle is not as good as a true Belgian one, but we didn't expect it to be. It was quite pricey for what it was, but the coffee is good, and despite many of the reviews on here, the service was good.

Slow service despite not many customers however they were upfront about this so that was fine. The milkshake was terrible, it tasted like it was watered a lot and barely like the flavour we ordered. Also small details like keeping milk out on the counter instead of a fridge and not cleaning a knife properly before cutting cake.

Really nice place. It is lovely inside and the food was great. Staff were also very friendly. You MUST try the waffles

Delicious waffles, amazing hot chocolates, great coffee and friendly service. What is there not to like.5 star food hygiene not 0 as previous reviewer posted.

Normally love coming here but my last experience was very poor. The hot chocolate was awful, tasted like it had mint leaves stewing in it. It was served in a mug with a spoon in it and no saucer. The cakes are usually a delight. They apparently have changed their cake providers. The cakes are not labelled unsuitable for vegetarians, we found out when it was too late!! The young staff didn't appear interested to look into the suitability of the cakes and wanted to quibble the extra money due for a replacement cake. One even claimed to have no interest in cakes. The one suggestion I would like to make is getting staff with a passion for cakes. I have on many occasions felt the service poor down to the young staff. IMO poor service can offset the whole experience! It saddens me to write such a poor review for this small business.

Nice staff and nice coffee with quick service. Would recommend the food too anybody with a sweet tooth.

Nice place, latte was good as was the carrot and orange cake which was delicious. However I also ordered a green smoothie which despite having a long list of tasty ingredients (apple, spinach, lime, avacado to name a few) they somehow managed to serve up one of the most bland drinks I've ever had. If you tasted it blind I doubt you'd pick out any of the ingredients. Its a nice place, I'd come again for the cake or coffee just no smoothies.

I ordered carrot cake here and it was nice, just very sweet and quite expensive but I was told the cakes were handmade. The owner seemed like a nice guy! I used the toilet out the back and saw an open freezer door filled with frozen cakes and pastries. The coffee was quite good and the shabby chic aesthetic works but it's not worth the money imo.
