La Piccola Italia in Bournemouth

The food was great and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. My only criticism is there could be a few more vegetarian options but food was still authentic and overall was a lovely experience.

Refreshingly quiet atmosphere, able to hold a conversation gently, no need to raise your voice to be heard. The olives were incredible. The carbonara was delicious, creamy, fair quantity of meat in it. The Montepulciano red wine was astounding. Staff were fast, friendly, and attentive, as well as passionate about Italy. The loos left a little to be desired, as it's currently only one shared by male and female, but that isn't enough to knock the overall down from 5 star.

Good pizza, a bit crispy and thin like northern Italian pizza. Overpriced sharing platter, bad olives. Cheaper beer unavailable. Table service added to bill.

Nice ambience, feel of authentic Italian.Very helpful friendly staff. Good choice on menu although disappointed there was no Spaghetti Bolognese or Pizzas with anchovies & capers. If being super critical the house red whilst being pleasant was a shade thin. In all however would recommend for the Italian restaurant lover.

Visited for the first time with friends. The service and the food were both really good. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere inside.

Food was pretty good! Very convenient location. Calzone was lacking in flavour but the seafood was lovely. Staff were fantastic and always had a smile. A little pricey but you won't break the bank here. The menu is huge so be prepared to sift through it. Overall it was a nice experience but nothing to write home about.
