Mrs Fox's Fish and Chips in Bournemouth

Recommended by my Aunt so we were looking forward to dinner. Portions are almost invisible! More batter than fish... chips were soggy, greasy and limp. And all for £19.08 bargain!!! Never again not even if complimentary!!!!!

Best chips I've had in years! Even if my mate was too rude to appreciate a good pea fritter! Highly recommended, clean, friendly and communicative and best cod and chips since Longs restaurant in the 1990s era. Will be back on my birthday! JET Repair, Winton.

Just fancied a Large (Battered) Jumbo Sausage and Chips whilst casually passing Mrs Foxes, and so popped in. The staff member pointed out to me that for 20p more, I could have a tub of mushy peas or a drink as part of their Jumbo Sausage & Chips meal deal (£4.40), so elected for the peas.Very tasty Battered Sausage (not bland), nice chips and good mushy peas.Chips served on a recyclable cardboard tray, which is a really good idea.But unfortunately the tray cannot be recycled due to the grease stains from the fried chips (only clean cardboard and paper can be recycled), so had to put it in the general waste bin after use. Shame. A layer of greaseproof paper may solve this problem, but this would be at extra cost no doubt, and would be an additional piece of waste packaging to discard. Good thought though - Iike the thinking!Overall, recommended.

I received an order from Mrs Fox fish and chips via Deliveroo. Never again. The order was messed up and the protein ordered did not arrive. I called direct and they said they were too busy to deliver the missed item but could I pick it up. I paid a lot for the delivery so no. The girl slammed the phone down on me. I called back and asked them to pick up the order and passed the blame onto Deliveroo. Will never order from there again and will place an official complaint against sarah

First time ordering from here and it definitely won't be the last. Really tasty crispy chips and lovely crispy battered cod, the cod was really white and flakey and really tasty, good size portion. Ordered through deliveroo arrived hot and on time. Mrs fox's will now be my new local chippie

Really nice chips, crunchy outside, nice a fluffy inside and not drowned in fat. Good prices and some nice deals in too. I'm definitely coming back

THE best fish and chip shop ever, no question! The curry sauce is amazing and the best battered sausage iv ever had! Definitely recommend. Delivery is always so fast too!

Lovely cod and chips. I ordered the small cos ans thought it wouldnt be enough but more than enough. Very tasty ans not too greasy like some. Also seen they do vegan sausages so as don't eat red meat will definitely return.
