Oriental Chinese Takeaway in Bournemouth

NEVER AGAIN .We first ordered about a week ago and our food was wrong and cold .We were promised a free meal next time so we gave them another chance and ordered again .No free meal was given we only got 2 items free of charge and then it took 2 hours to turn up ! No surprise it was also cold again .

Hair in my food and no nuts in satay sauce, grim, quality has really dropped. I only used it as I live next door, but even I will go elsewhere now

Ordered from here plenty since our first year of uni. Now in our 4th year. Good food, and lovely lady.

I had a really bad experience with this establishment and would recommend you just order elsewhere to save yourself the bother.I placed an order through Just Eat and was given the order delivery slot of 40-60 minutes. A respectable just eat time for them to prepare my food and deliver it. After 40 minutes the driver called me with difficulty finding my door. He couldn't understand my direction so I offered to meet him outside. After walking the full length up and down my road I return home to another call and he is still sat in the wrong road. He said he would be here in 5 minutes.I phoned the Chinese to say I didn't want the food as it had now been 20 minutes and I know it takes longer than 5 minutes to get from where he was to me. 14 minutes later turns up at my door expecting to complete the transaction. At least 30-40 minutes after he left the Chinese. For a £30 order from Just Eat? Just No.I did offer the woman at the Chinese £10 to take the order but she said "it doesn't work like that" well customer service doesn't work like that either

My love for Chinese food is beyond every one expectations...Unfortunately this place does NOT make good tasty fresh Chinese food at allMost of the food is frozen if not pre prepared days and days before it is Re cooked or Re heated to be served for take a way.Most of the ingredients used in the cooking are past based and not fresh ones which is very sad ...Apart from some vegetablesThe lady behind all the cooking is not a Chinese chef the chef has left the place a month agoMost deliveries are completed very lateAnd the ingredients, food and the service is truly aweful.

Never again.. used to order from Oriental, don't know what has happened of late, 1 woman working on her own on a Friday night. Ordered a red thai and a green thai curry ... no idea what it actually was! Neither were thai curries, no coconut or lemongrass, few dried pieces of chicken, mainly vegetables..

Great food, fast service. Once missed an item for collection and dealt with it promptly by delivering it within 10 minutes of letting them know by phone

The food used to be delicious here - halcyon days indeed!. I ordered a takeaway this evening and the chips I received were CRINKLE CUT OVEN CHIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is not a joke, I thought I was losing my eyesight (and tastebuds). The rest of my order (Crispy Chilli Beef, Singapore Noodles and egg fried rice) was well below par too. Couldn't be bothered to complain as I was hungry and you know what its like then, don't fancy waiting another hour to eat! And the delivery driver was rude as heck too... Don't bother!
