Really good fish served here. Nothing pre-cooked, just made when you get there and make the order. Being non-British we would have preferred 'skinny-chips'. But the whole thing is great nevertheless.

Superb food, cooked fresh and served by kind, honest fryers. Absolutely the best chippy in the BH6/7 area. Overtaken *that* place by a country mile on service alone. Highly recommended

Best fish and chips I've had for a few years. Everything is put on to cook as you order so it's as fresh and hot as can be. Great service, welcoming and good sized portions 👍

Best local fish&chips in my opinion. I've tried a few others and Pokesdown chippy is still family favourite one.It was very busy today therefore I had to wait about 20 minutes after phone order, the owner was very apologetic. At the end food very tasty as always.

This chippy never let's us down, a short wait as everything is freshly cooked. The fish is fantastic and they are very generous with the chips.A very good choice of accompaniments as well.

The man in the shop was very friendly and there was fast service and the food was hot and fresh. You got a lot of chips for only £2! The only drawback was some of the chips weren't crispy enough. Overall, it was an amazing experience -i would highly recommend.

Always friendly stuff. Depends on the day the Fish & chips are tasty or sometimes you can smell old oil or chips undercooked. I like this place but you should keep some standard, be PRO guys :)
