Renoufs (Southbourne) in Bournemouth

Renoufs in Southbourne can accommodate 100 covers, it has nice lighting and candles on tables, there is a large wine selection, beer & lager from pumps, spirits and soft drinks. Large selection of cheeses and cold meats to choose from starting from £31.95 for two people.

A beautiful restaurant with amazing food. The staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. As a vegan dining here for the first time I wasn’t sure what to expect, but my vegan platter was EPIC! The mushroom pate was sooooo good. The wines we chose from their extensive menu were delicious. We will be back!

We had a large group for a cheese and wine evening recently. Elise and the rest of the staff to serve us were fabulous as was the food and drink. Top marks, we felt very looked after!

Excellent,great idea. Lots of good meats and cheeses and extras. Do not expect to see steaks or fish it's fine cut smoked meats excellent salamis and so much more. The selection of cheese's is amazing with various chutneys and dips to accompany this feast. Well done.

New Years Eve Celebrations couldn't have been any nicer. A lovely venue with lovely staff, who dealt with a rude and obnoxious customer, who was shouting about the toilets being blocked. No fault of the poor staff who dealt with her so professionally. When she was gone, the restaurant was able to enjoy a great night of cheese, wine, great Jazz music and celebrations.

The barmaid informed our small group that no walk-in customers are permitted. We could only see two ladies sitting at the bar, and the dining area was empty, so we asked how to book a table or seating at the bar. The barmaid advised us the restaurant was fully booked and that the booking function on the website was down. Out of curiosity, a group member checked the Renoufs website, and the booking feature was working and showing availability. However, we got the impression from the barmaid that we were unwelcome regardless. Very disappointing.

A lot of choice and interesting cheeses and meats. Good range of wine, would be nice to have a few more available by the glass

Superb evening out with my wife as recommended by a local. The flight wines were a great way to experience different wines. A great choice of cheeses which paired nicely with the wine. If you’re a fan of wine and cheeses this place is an absolute must.

Had to book inadvance and could see why once arrived. Great atmosphere, beautifully decked out, food on the sharing boards was to die for, sets of wine tasted like nectar, staff friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Could not fault anything, but if I lived closer I'd be 2 sizes bigger for sure! This has to be top of your list to visit - if you like cheese and wine.
