Sakib Spice in Bournemouth

I planned to celebrate my birthday on Saturday 26th February with a lunchtime Indian banquet. The only takeaway willing to do this was Shakib spice. The owner helped me plan the food for 18 people and delivered it at 1pm as agreed. The food was excellent as usual and was enjoyed by all. Many thanks.

We had two chicken dhansak We had the chicken dhansak and the chicken Ceylon.lemon rice and Bombay potatoes and plain naan. Excellent tastes gothous will be getting tonight as last meal was so good HIGHLY recommend there hidden gem in tuckton .

Absolutely fantastic. Catered for vegan preferences. Food was amazing. Delivery was so professional.

The food is exceptional from here had it twice now and both times outstanding. Do try and I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

Sakib Spice never fails with great food 😀I've had various types of Curry from here, from Madras Hot, to Phal Extra Hot. Always a great flavour.Poppadoms are always fresh & crispy.Nann always lovely & fluffy.Rice always flavoursome.I've never had a bad Stomach from their Food.Keep up the good work guys.5 star rating aswell now 👏

Over an hour waiting for delivery, after a phone call to find out where it was i was told 10 more mins however it was another 20 minutes. Food was piping hot but all soggy like it had been over microwaved. Samosas soggy and mushy, chicken chewy and naan bread hard crispy and burnt. Would not recommend!

Have used Sakib for probably 10+ years...always good & tasty, but the last 3 orders have been very poor. Sprouts in a veg curry?? I think they must have a new chef. Also no voucher yesterday. Curry Corner in future --- sorry guys.Ian, 35a Stroud

I ordered this evening through Uber Eats. First time receiving food from this resturant. Cannot praise them highly enough.Some of the best Indian food I've eaten in bournemouth. Great value for money. The midweek feast is an absolute bargain. Also ordered a lamb dansak that was super tender and tasty.Spoke to resturant on phone and the driver. Both were friendly, professional and courteous. Superb job

Oh my god !!! Had a lamb tikka masala and a chicken tikka korai Peshawari nann and mixed kebab starter . The meat in all the dishes was so tender succulent and juicy the best I've ever had it was amazing . The tastes and flavors was also out of this world . I will probably order again tomorrow . You must try this Indian you will not be disappointed is definitely the best in town and I've lived here all my life

CIGARETTE BUTT FOUND IN FOOD & NO REFUND GIVEN.DO NOT EAT FROM HERE.UTTERLY ABYSMAL.Found a USED cigarette butt in a vegetable rogan josh. It tasted of smoke and was obviously from a cigarette.They wanted the entire meal back to give us a refund. We only found the butt half way through the meal, so obviously couldn't give them the whole thing back - so they tried to bargain with us and said "We'll give you 50% of the money back for the remaining 50% of the food".They then told us "they were losing money" and wouldn't therefore refund us. Absolutely furious as our meal (and evening) were ruined.Utterly disgusting.I have reported them to the Food Standards Agency for investigation & hope that it's taken further.
