Salathai in Bournemouth

Probably the best Thai meal that I’ve ever had. Great service and a nice ambiance. There were 5 of us and not one bad meal. Well worth a try

Lovely food and environment. We love this restaurant but hadn't been for so long and they did not disappoint. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient and the food was very tasty. We love the carevd tables and chairs, the fish tank and the pretty blue and white dishes. Fabulous evening!

I would highly recommend Sala Thai, we went last night for the first time and I can’t believe we waited so long. The best Thai food I’ve ever had! The sea bass and crispy noodles were absolutely delicious and there was a lovely buzzing atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Booked for my Partners Birthday and had just moved to the area. Food is delicious and really enjoyed our meal. Attentive service and authentic. Would certainly return and highly recommend.

One of the best Thai restaurants I have been to, and I have just moved to Christchurch from London! Authentic flavours, great service, Thai music in the background, nicely decorated restaurant. This is definitely our favourite local restaurant.

This is a traditional UK Thai restaurant with an appropriately carved wood interior and waiting staff in Thai gowns etc. They made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely lovely. Extremely tasty across the board. The Thai Shiraz wine was not exactly awesome but fun to try!However, as mentioned in other reviews, the service was extremely slow. Probably just short of an hour before starters arrived.So, a mixed bag that escapes three stars because the food was so good.

Very authentic Thai restaurant. Small inside but lovely decorations. Friendly service and incredible food! I was pleasantly surprised because when we first walked in its very quiet and wasn't very busy, but after being inside a lot of people came in to pick up their takeaways. My friends had the sharing platter to start which looked amazing and they said it was delicious. We had vegetable spring rolls, vegetable red thai curry which wasn't too hot and full of flavour, coconut rice which was the nicest coconut rice I've ever tasted, and the vegetable pad thai. I can highly recommend all of these dishes and visiting this restaurant.

Have never had less than a very good meal in this restaurant. Visited again 2 nights ago. Delicious food.clearly all very freshly prepared. We could see staff were busy with takeaway orders as well as the restaurant clients. Service courteous and efficient as always. Food lovely. Had mixed starters for 2 to begin with. Then as main one of us had seafood salad (quite spicy) and the other had garlic and pepper beef. Shared a plain noodles and very nice bottle of rose. Overall very good food and good value for the quality.

I love Thai food, so I am very surprised I have only just discovered this restaurant. This is a very nice traditional family run Thai restaurant. The food is perfectly cooked and flavoured. Very good service and reasonably priced too. If you like Thai food this is a must. Probably my favourite in the Bournemouth area.
