The staff were wonderful. My partner ordered the beef cheeks which were perfect and the desert of chocolate cheese cake was delicious. I ordered the Mac n Cheese as rich meats aren’t doing it for me at the moment. It wasn’t very good, tasted of wotzits (confirmed by my partner). Table next to us had fresh cod which looked amazing too.Just don’t go there and eat pasta. It’s more of a meaty place.

The Schpoons & Forx restaurant is located inside the Hilton Hotel Bournemouth and is worth a visit. The food is great and well presented. On our first visit in July 2021 I ordered a sourdough pepperoni pizza and it was very good. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. Our 2nd visit to Schpoons & Forx in June 2022 was also very good. The pint of cold Peroni went down a treat. Our party had tandoori prawns for starters. Then for mains we had a mix of ribeye steak, hake and grilled chicken. Finally for dessert we had creme brulee, strawberry meringue and afogato. Our 3rd visit also in June 2022 was once again very good. Our party had tandoori prawns for starters. Then for mains we had a mix of ribeye steak with chips and fillet steak chips.

I was recommended to go here and as our in-laws were staying here I thought this was the perfect choice. We had an important family meal and we were utterly disappointed. If it wasn't for my mum having a disability my fiancé and I would have walked out. The staff were so rude and even at one point refused to submit just our starters as they had to be done together due to timings. We were literally told NO this cannot be done and they wouldn't take our order. The beetroot hummus came with no bread (how else are you meant to eat it!) so we had to order bread on top (same cost as the hummus!) and and and ... some of the dishes weren't bad and they were presented well but the service was awful and expensive for what it was. Being the Hilton I expected better and it was basically just an eatery off the lobby it didn't feel like a restaurant at all. Very disappointing.

For Bournemouth centre it's one of the few nice places to go to. There are not many decent restaurants in the town.Nicely layout tables, but dimming the lights would benefit the place more.Quiet, and decent food, very good steak.Service - waiters need guidance and to learn from management? service eticket, the basic restaurant rules, or simply educate themselves. it's a nice team of FOH, but they totally have no idea how to serve.

Had a very disappointing meal here over the weekend. As it is attached to the Hilton hotel (which is lovely), we had high hopes that the food would be top class but it really wasn't. We ordered burgers and chips and pretty much felt like we were eating a very budget version of McDonald's but on a plate. Felt ripped off, definitely not worth it. Staff were friendly though.

Great food and service. only thing I would suggest is to move some of the tables as if you are tall like me, 6ft1, you will be forever banging your head on the light fixtures above the tables. Hit my head twice on the light and from the looks I got from Staff I'd suggest it wasn't the first time someone had done it.The overall experience was a great one though, attentive and welcoming staff and the Bill wasn't too bad either.

Nice meal, fantastic service, does have the feel of a hotel restaurant though.Interesting to watch the chefs at work, good value for money.

What a disappointment and a bill of over ÂŁ130. Advertised as if the kitchen is led by an undiscovered Gordon Ramsay! Very slow service (but ÂŁ19 tip added!) as they tried to meet the room service burger orders. Food looks good but poor to pretty average at best (and very expensive - ÂŁ20 for a nothing special pork chop, fish at ÂŁ24, plus sides come from a mere ÂŁ3.50 extra). Asked for a red wine recommendation and it was for the ÂŁ11 glass. Heavily overseasoned risotto served on a flat plate. Potatoes under cooked. The 4 cheese plate was missing a cheese but no explanation. Two stars for the friendly staff and the good puddings.

Visited this lovely restaurant last night the locals call it “a posh night out” the start of our visit wasn’t great, my youngest is gluten and dairy intolerant, we had informed them before arrival, our main waitress didn’t have a clue and my wife ended up going to speak to the chefs who were so lovely and helpful they made a lovely dish for my youngest. I think as a typical hotel restaurant only having 2 wait staff and a manager might be the case. On to the food, we had the beef arancini, buttermilk friend chicken and squid for sharing pate which were lovely, the Roti fired steak was also superb, we were addicted to the “crisp potato scraps” so yummy. The dessert we chose was the sweet shpoons which was also superb. Overall a bad start but a good ending. They just need some work on the staff training.
