Shah Jahan Restaurant in Bournemouth

What a curry! Really impressed with this place, especially the pickle tray! Loads to choose from and very tasty. I have to say this is probably the only Indian I’ve ever had and not want to die the next morning.

Good quality food served quickly. Great service. Food tasty and good portions. I had the chicken with pineapple. Unusual. Large chunks of hot pineapple with chicken onions and peppers. Tasty. Came with a small unexpected salad. Popadums had lots of chutneys. Reccomended.

Absolutely beautiful food and attentive staff and service. Very impressed and will definitely come again and not leave it so long next time! In case you are wondering, I ordered the chef special and it did not disappoint. 1st class

Friendly staff, tasty food, good prices. The Chicken Zal Zala is very mild, so if you want a kick either go for something hotter or add extra chilli's. It's no where near as spicy as they claim. It is tasty though. Good range of beer. Dessert menu could be wider than just Ice cream and Sorbet. Overall a good dining experience, great atmosphere, good staff, great food

Excellent food and excellent service. Food is very tasty with excellent spicing rather than being a cheap 50p sauce added to meat. Scotch egg starter is to die for. Cannot recommend highly enough

My first time there.Food was divine!Cutlery and crockery were exceptionally clean.Good pricing.Only 4 star for me because the staff kept hovering over the table.

Lovely authentic India restaurant, the food was scrumptious and the staff were brilliant, we got complimentary shots at the end of the meal, and as it was my step daughter's 18th we brought a birthday cake in and they took it away and put a real fire cracker of a candle on it and presented it to her

Excellent service and fantastic tasty dishes! So nice we went two days running while holidaying in the area. Have returned twice every year since first visit and still absolutely fantastic Indian cuisine and service too. We went lunchtime and not very busy. Covid restrictions in place and staff implemented their personal protection wear too. Well worth a visit we haven't found a consistent Indian restraunt as good as this one¡ Awesome meals. Thanks 👍
