Went for breakfast today. Not as good as it has been in the past. My wife asked for a banana šŸŒ smoothie only to be told they had no bananas. I lost count of the many places you could get bananas along Charminster road. Sausages, always had a quality banger. Makes a breakfast šŸ³.

First time I visited this American styled feel, took me by surprise, I just thought it was going to be be another over rated place. Well the food was really good service was excellent, and I would visit again. Clean, great look to the place with a selection of beautiful photos of the stars, Elvis, Monroe, Dean, and many others,a very friendly place, thank you.

Had a nice omelette here and price was very reasonable too. The only reason for dropping a star is a minor one, parking in the top of Charminster is flipping difficult at the best of times. Other than that, great!

I worked here a year ago. I know how the chef is committed to his work. Sometimes full sometimes not so much but the taste of the food is excellent. One wonders how such a small restaurant has such high quality food. As for the waitress they come and go and change, like everything in this small town of Bournemouth. Now under new administration we expect Starz to return to its foundations to be a place to enjoy the food.

Really great place. We visited as a big group for brunch and ordered all different things from the menu: chicken club sandwich, 9 items, 7 items, pancakes, scrambled eggs with salmon, mac'n'cheese. The food was delicious! And Waitress very friendly and warm. The only fault I could find was their size of the teas. I enjoy a big cup of herbal tea, and unfortunately they only provide small glasses. And if I was making the scrambled eggs at home I would have cooked them for just 1 minute longer. Unfortunately, I wasn't the biggest fan of the bagel either, it was way too hard for me to bite ( I have braces atm).We will definitely be going back to try more and order many many portions of their pancakes. They are too die for!

Absolutely FANTASTIC. From breakfast to dinner and cocktails. Never had a bad experience. Wonderful staff, lovely new owner. Clean fully stocked toilets and baby changing facilities. Never a dirty high chair or anything a problem. It's a must!

Nice Decor, but that's about it. We ordered pancakes which obviously came out of a packet and hadn't been cooked properly. The eggs we ordered had been cooked to a similar standard. The only thing worth having was the mug of tea and the Banana milk shake we ordered.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner today and had an awful experience. The waitress was lovely and understanding; obviously it isn’t her fault at all, but I am not happy whatsoever.Firstly, when we sat down to eat there were no staff in the diner which immediately made us question the place. The waitress came out and was very polite when greeting us and asking if we’d like any drinks etc. We both ordered a diet coke and when they came they tasted flat and nasty. I let her know and she agreed and brought us cans from the fridge to replace them. We waited a long time for our food to come once we had ordered and when it did arrive, there was a long hair tangled in the pot of coleslaw on my plate. I hadn’t realised this until half way through my meal which then immediately put me off. My boyfriend struggled to eat his burger because of the quality and it was not a pleasant experience. We sat for around twenty minutes with empty glasses, not eating, so I went up to the waitress and confronted her about the hair in my dinner. Again, I know it wasn’t her fault at all but it’s just not what you want to see in your food when you’re out for a meal. She went to speak to the chef and a while later she came out and said she’d take the drinks off our meal which still left the bill costing more than we expected considering we had hardly eaten due to the bad quality and the fact that there was someone else’s hair in my food. We asked to speak to her boss who was apparently working in MyBar as she had offered to bring her down, and after having a phone call with her, she told us that she couldn’t do anything because we had already eaten the food and that she can’t come down because it’s too far. We immediately looked down at our plates and questioned this seeing as most of the food was still there, but anyway, we paid the bill and left.As soon as we walked out of the door, we could directly see that MyBar was less than a 60 second walk away which baffled me seeing as the waitress’s boss had told her she couldn’t come down because it was too far, leaving her in a stressful situation with unhappy customers.Overall, not a good time! I wouldn’t recommend this place for a meal unless you enjoy other people’s DNA tangled in your dinner. The food quality is bad and way too overpriced. I’m currently sat at home feeling sick and completely regretting my decision to come here today.

We travelled 20miles to have lunch at Starz. We had been there a,few times before and loved it. So DISAPPOINTED to find it SHUT AT LUNCH TIME!!! Shutters down and not even a note on the door.... We were informed by a neighbouring restaurant that there were new owners who simply don't care. 😢

Great place for breakfast and American style cuisine. Lots of breakfast options including waffles, French toast, egg options, and full English. Great burgers too. Service can be a little slow at times and can be very busy.
