Tates Liquor and Plates in Bournemouth

It was my first time in dancing jug. I went there with my friend for drinks and lunch. We both had a nice welcome from the manager and we were quickly served. Lunch was really good and nicely presented. Nice environment will definitely go back again.

We had a fabulous meal the Jubilee weekend.The food was really beautiful.Jordan the owner was so lovely and couldn’t do anymore for us.The Cocktails and shots went down a treat.We will definitely be back next visit.Thanks Dancing Jug.. 🤩

Great start on the service, drinks bought to the table for our bottomless brunch. We could order our cocktails by the jug which was great for a larger group.Food took a long time. After having an issue with one of the meals, they said they would sort it straight away and it would be about ten minutes. It still took 30 minutes and the rest of the party had finished eating so I felt uncomfortable to eat on my own.As the place got busier the service for drinks began slowing down a lot.After talking to one of the members of staff outside (Jasmine, I believe) she apologised a lot and she made sure I had a cheeky tequila shot for the issues we had.I feel the experience could have been a bit of a let down if Jasmine wasnt there to sort things out with our order and the manager was apologetic also and went to chase up the food again.We would go back as the idea of the bottomless brunch they have is great, the burgers food was great, however I think it could be a little better put together.Apart from the slight mishaps. I'd give this place a 9/10 and would recommend to friends.

Terrible service in this restaurant. We waited for over 1 hour for our food. We complained and a manager came over to apologise. He claimed they had to prepare a huge Take Away order prior to our order. When the food finally arrived, we were given a Beef Burger instead of a Chicken Burger. The waitress claimed she mistook the wrong plate. Another lengthy wait for our food. Not a pleasant experience and unsurprisingly we won't be back.

Staff very attentive and helpful. The secret garden area Is so lovely. A very large food order all cooked amazing and hot. Would recommend and come again!

This was our first visit to The Dancing Jug. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had burgers and fish & chips and all enjoyed our meals. We also had 2 for 1 cocktails. We sat in the secret garden area which was relaxing and had outdoor heaters. Would come again.

What a gem of a find, from outside it looks like any old pub, once inside a great atmosphere, clean and tidy, really friendly staff and helpful, attentive service too. Great recommendation of food and drinks by staffStarters and mains were cooked very well and extra tasty, larger portions than expected and cooked to perfection, clearly a trained chef in the kitchen.Bar staff and manager were great, good laugh and great humour, made the evening more enjoyable. .Definitely recommend a visit as you'll be in for a great surprise at how superb the hospitality is. Good value too

Stopped in for their famous 2.5 hour all you can drink, brunch. Burger and fries were excellent 😋. As they promise, drinks kept coming, which made it a really festive visit. Recommended that you book a table to avoid disappointment as it can get full. The serving staff were attentive and on the ball, dealing with multiple parties at the same time.

Came here on Saturday for a birthday with 15 of us. The staff were amazing a big shout out to the lady with short black hair and the lady with bob length blonde hair! Very accommodating and just overall great service! I also left my bag that night and I picked it up today with everything still inside so grateful!
