TGI Fridays in Bournemouth

Initially turned away as we hadn't booked even though clearly there was plenty of tables available. Thought it was ludicrous to turn away business.Sat outside and booked online where we then came back 20 minutes later.Ordered drinks 5 minutes into being on the premises to be told there was nothing available on tap. Was then told 10 minutes later that an ingredient for a cocktail wasn't available so had to change the order.Half an hour into being on the premises our drinks finally arrived and included:1x warm bottle of Bud, 2x warm fruitshoots for our tired and frustrated children and a half decent cocktail albeit a different one to the one the good lady Initially wanted.Finally after 40 minutes, I spoke to someone who then served us immediately. She said that because we had allergens then a manager would have to take the order to which we said it was okay and would take the risk as it was the manager who initially sat us down and done the drinks order.Just 2 working toilets out of 5 in the ladies, whilst the gents were so bad that customers had to use the disabled.Tables were left filthy for the duration we were on the premises.Food was decent and I have to compliment the chef although for the price tag, I won't be going back for the food.Overall, a shocking 2.5 hours on the premises. Absolutely ruined our day and ended up the talking point for our trip away for all the wrong reasons.Maybe the manager had too much on his plate to deal with us but regardless, his attitude stank right from the off and as a paying customer that works in retail, I feel as though the customers are priority.I have given a 2 star simply for the young lady who saved us from walking out and for the chefs who provided a half decent meal in the endI would avoid this place and hope that maybe head office take note of my feedback through their website and make changes.... quickly!

Although we were kept waiting for a table when we arrived. Our waiter was helpful professional. Although there was a wait between starter and main course the food was good and plenty of it

My burger came out and had hair in it shows to the waitress she try to claim it for cheese. But I picked up with fork and gave it her she agreed it’s a hair but than she push to eat it As it’s on side hanging from cheese only is she for real. No apologies just been told it’s gonna be another 12 minutes for next one. But no one came and check back considering these things are not right anyways shift manager with glass and black ear studs was a joke as well. Shame how they abuse the work look like customer satisfaction is not important for them.

The worst steak ever. I ordered ribeye they brought what ever that was. Burger was dry. Steak cooked wrong. Save your money don't bother going there.

Really nice. Enjoyed the food (as expected for TGI, service was good. Would have been nice to have the privacy of the Booths which it didn't seem to have.I think the only downside was when we declined pudding our bill was promptly placed down in front of us, when we would have quite happily stayed for another drink. So they did lose out there.

Great food, lovely staff, nice atmosphere, nice place, will visit again.

She promptly came back with drinks and food shortly followed. On trying the drink (cola) is was warm and with barely any fizz. By the time I had finished my starter the ice had fully melted in the drink, making it flatter.The starters were very nice except for the warm, almost wilted salad (could of understood if the plate was hot). Most likely it was prepared in advance and left on the side in the kitchen.Cleanliness take a hit for two reasons, the cocktails menu had pages stuck together not sure what by. The second reason was one out of date condiment in the holder. I would also say the open bottles also say refrigerate after opening, they were all warm and no date when they were opened.I might of said something if we had seen the waitress in the meantime, in fact our mains were arriving bought to us by someone else. On seeing this and quickly cleared the plates. I had almost finished my (almost) flat cola at this point. We didn’t see her again until we had finished our mains.Attentiveness takes a hit as a result, was slightly perplexed are four members of staff making ballon animals while our waitress seemed to be just coping; surely making them before service would of been better.The last markdown atmosphere, simply the music was too loud!The shortfalls were such a shame as the food and staff were great.56 / 80

I really enjoyed my experience dining inThis American themed restaurantThe staff were just fantastic and so helpfulI had the spicy chicken burger with friesIt was just awesomeIf your couple great for dining or groupsAnd there is a cinema in the complexWell worth a visit

Me & my husband tried to come here on Friday the man said it was fully packed and we couldn't get a table but the place was empty.We came back on Saturday for our anniversary and had a lovely time.the waitress we had was so polite throughout our time there and she gave us a slice of cake to celebrate & made a rose balloon gave it to my husband and said here's a rose for you to give to your lady,

Really loved the food it was really great. For us the meat lovers the Ultimate full rack Ribs was more than enough couldn't even finish them. The service was also amazing.Highly recommend, TGI Fridays I will be back.
