The Bay Tree in Bournemouth

Amazing place. Beautiful food, superbly cooked. Great atmosphere with the friendliest owners I have met.

Found this absolute gem tucked away in Winton and we will definitely be going back. Dan was such a pleasure serving us their mammoth breakfast @£8.50 which didn't disappoint. Dan managed to squeeze us in, so would advise booking a table in advance. We will be trying their lunch menu once they're back from their holiday (Feb 28th till March 22nd). Seriously the best breakfast in Bournemouth, no oil on the plate, BACON GRILLED! EGGS ARE FREE RANGE, TOAST IS FRESH BAKED ON THE DAY BREAD FROM SAINSBURY'S! ALL MEAT FROM LOCAL BUTCHER! and finally Lovely owners who put there blood sweat and tears into their café. PLEASE ENJOY!

Went with a group of ladies for a retirement meal and was not dissapointed. Beautiful food, good quality and plenty of it, staff and owners were amazing. I hear the breakfasts are good so cant wait to go back.

First time going.As soon as we sat down my daughter grabbed the sugar pot and was just taking a sugar out, the guy came over took it out of her hands saying she will smash it. That’s fine. I understand. We took our order, I asked if I could possibly have poached eggs instead of fried on the bacon and eggs, he said no, it holds back the kitchen and delays others orders when people changed the menu. Absolutely no issue. Ordered a tea instead. My son ordered the pancakes and they asked if he would like blueberry pancakes instead. He said no and I heard her tell the kitchen no as well. He received blueberry pancakes, he tried one but didn’t like them so didn’t eat them, at the end she asked if they were okay and I explained. She said she told the kitchen plain and walked off with the plate. No apologies or offer to refund etc (which I know I could have taken them back but while my family were eating their breakfast I could see and hear clearly the guy telling the lady about my asking for poached eggs, laughing and the lady shaking her head and walking off. So that’s why we didn’t complain. Made to feel very uncomfortable) Nothing about their food, it all looked lovely. Just the way we were made to feel.

My friend asked me to meet up for lunch and I was not disappointed it was amazing atmosphere and the people were amazing I would definitely recommend this place to everyone to eat thank you so much guys

Best restaurant winton attentive staff. Spotlessly clean.including toilets. Good quality food.Non greasy breakfast. Cooked to order.The classic reasonably priced.reccomended.

Absolutely A1,food,service,cleanliness everything, home made bread, lovely coffee,just perfect, wish we had found this beautiful place long ago it will definately be our regular eating place now & forward.

Lovely cafe great homemade food , tried for a couple of weeks to get in but always busy , managed to get in this week and was lovely , homemade soup was fab .

Met up with a friend for breakfast here yesterday, and very impressed. Very welcoming, good selection of food to choose from, and piping hot. Lovely staff and we weren't rushed to finish so they could reuse our table. Very popular as was full by 10:30, but still people wanting a table, so get there early to avoid disappointment - definately recommended
