"A pub at the heart of the community and proud of our heritage. A quick catch up over a drink with family and friends, or catching all of the live action with our great sports viewing. There is always something going on in your local pub with a great atmosphere and value for money."

Friendly, local type pub. Very good value food. Sunday Lunch, two for £13 with mushroom and ale veggie version. Plates piled high. Guinness on tap, what's not to like? Maybe the TVs, but not too loud in the cosy corner section of the lounge bar.

Overall a pretty good place.Food wasn't really top notch as some of the items were burnt or reheated . Strong smell in the toilets, some hourly attendance would help .Fair prices for both food and drinks. Some items available in the app were not available in the kitchen , told we are going to be refunded later on.Service was okay. They need to improve a few things .

I held my daughters birthday in the private function room for hire. What an amazing night. The manager Anna and All of the staff were all so helpful right from booking the hall, setting up the decorations (the balloon arch took 2 hours) and bringing out the buffet food I ordered for the night. The buffet was absolutely amazing, a few of my friends said it was the best buffet food they’d ever had. Also whatever wasn’t eaten they boxed up for me in takeaway boxes to take home. The staff helped me to tidy up the hall at the end of the night aswell, they really were lovely. The hall is great with its own speakers for you to play your own music through, different colour disco lights, disco ball and can decorate how you like.

Went to the Brunswick for lunch, arrived around 14:00 and the pub was empty, I waited for a short while in the first bar then as no one appeared I went through to the second bar and then also had a wait until someone came to serve, he was friendly and welcoming I ordered a drink and asked if they had any jacket potatoes that I'd seen on the menu at first he said yes then said that he'd have to check he went to the till hit the on screen pad a few times then said that they didn't have any as they had run out of cheese! I thought this odd. The menu has a high proportion of dishes that require cheese so surely a member of staff could have gone to a supermarket for some cheese earlier in the day. I ended up ordering a ham salad sandwich with chips the presentation was nice and the sandwich was good although I'd have preferred the bread to have been buttered rather than be given a pot of mayonnaise on the plate especially as there was a bottle of this already on the table. The pub was clean but could do with some redecoration. I appreciate that the Brunswick is not in the best of positions but it is in a large residential area so could do more to attract people in for lunch as it's a lovely building and in walking distance for many people like myself, I feel the menu is wrong for the location and unfortunately as a chain pub they are stuck with the same menu as the rest of the group, even the two course seniors menu looked unappetising. I haven't been there during the evening when it maybe busier, will have to give it a try when the get some cheese delivered!

A nice pub with a good atmosphere. Family friendly and I feel comfortable breastfeeding my baby there. However in the last year the food hasn't been as good as it used to be. My scampi have been wet, and on another visit my pie was cold inside

I come to Brunswick for the board games club each Monday. Staff are friendly and make an effort to remember their regulars. Beer is kept well and food is inexpensive but tasty.

Went for work Christmas lunch. Plates over flowing with food so gd value for money. Only downside 2 hairs were found in colleagues main meal but the only response was " Don't know where that came from " and that was the end of it. Overall friendly and enjoyable.

In fact this is a nice quiet/clean pub. You don't really get or find trouble round here. I can actually say that my uncle used to be the guy who actually run this pub when I was younger and I still have fond memories of back in the day from when I was in my youth of visiting this pub. It is a clean pub and you can see that just by walking past on the outside that it is well taken care of!...
