Just got a portion of chips suppose to be regular more like small and cold and tastes like yesterday's chips and all 3 pound! Waited all day for these and what an absolute joke! Could of had 2 large McDonald's grow for the same and would been happier!! I thought you to be the best chippy in Bournmouth now I'm I wouldn't go there for that price for the amount and cold.

I was a bit sceptical because it looked empty, but the fish was freshly fried to order it took just few minutes but omg was it worth it. Definitely will recommend and come back, this time will make some pics of the fish, was to good to make a photo shoot of the food :)

Came with my family of 8. Had grilled seabass, grilled octopus, battered cod & haddock & calamari. Everything was fresh and delicious plus excellent customer service!

They are advertising food that is “gluten free” when it does actually contain gluten!! Please change your menu board. The staff need retraining in food hygiene and safety as this is illegal and so dangerous. I was served “gluten free” food one week, then on my next visit I was told that the food I’d eaten contains gluten! I would advise all coeliacs to avoid.

This place had great cod and the portion sizes were amazing. I would highly recommend this as a traditional fish and chips joint

The Fish was beautifully cooked, the chips were well seasoned and the portion size was perfect. On top of that the service was brilliant too, the guys behind the counter were very helpful. There is a slight wait for the food but it's well worth it.

A decent fish and chips. Well done all round. The curry sauce wasn’t great however and lacked a bit of oomph and balance. I was comparing, probably unfairly to Chez Fred which I’d had the day before. Chez Fred is on another level to pretty much any other fish and chips shop so maybe an unfair comparison, but this is a good fish and chips place especially if you’re in Bournemouth town

Honestly feels like home - or better! The food is delicious, the owner is super friendly and welcoming, and the prices are very decent. We came to Bournemouth for a day and seeing the high ratings for this fish and chips shop, we couldn't help but stop by. When we asked for some advice and information about the food scene and where to find fresh seafood, the owner was super helpf, friendly, and extremely hospitable. We had a long conversation and enjoyed the freshly made seafood in this super friendly environment.Thank you for the food and the excellent service! Will definitely come again if I get the chance to.

My daughter ordered fish and chips. Took ages. Some local security came in and it would seem were served the meal I was waiting for. The fish when I finally got it wasn't cooked properly as the photo shows.Took it back to the shop and the owner was argumentative saying that it was how it should be cooked. In the end she was given a full refund.

Not bad, batter on the fish needed to be cooked a little longer to add a better crunch. Battered sausages are really good.
