The Durley Inn Harvester in Bournemouth

It's all about the views really, but I managed to drag my attention away from them for long enough to be charmed by the delightful servers and won over totally by the great food. Will definitely go again...

Loved the waffle and chicken with the dirty fried combo as side . Being on the seaside front it a beautiful view.

Great value, a good size breakfast, plenty of toast & coffee set me up for rest of the day. Would recommend a visit!.

Very nice food and fresh food. Personally make, no problem with exchange items. Friendly and smile stuff members. We been there twice for breakfast and for dinner. We definitely will come back!

Really nice place. Been here a few times to eat and to drink. Nice on the beach location. This place can get really busy. The loaded fries they do are great. Managed to squeeze us in the other day even though they were very busy. Happy to accommodate any allergies you may have too. Good selection of beers and food. Nice place to just go and have a beer and sit outside. Good luck trying to get space here in the height of summer. Nice staff. Well done food. Nice environment. Will definitely visit again soon.

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We were served by Lucy and was very helpul. She told us about the offers we can receive after signing up.Even if we didn't had a reservation they tried and gave us the best seats which overlooks the sea. It was an amazing experience. The food was very lovely. Staff were really amazing. The only downside was the salad bar. It didn't meet our expectation at all.

Delicious! Went with the wife to get dinner together as she was starving! She got the spit roast chicken, and I got the dirty burger! That thing was HUGE! Service was very fast, and was about 4mins from walking in to us ordering...wow!! Got the refill option for the drinks, and the usual salad sides with bread buns etc...cant help yourself at the salad bar but just ask what you want and they will serve you! Clean, tidy and very helpful, been a while since we last went to a harvester? But will be back soon! Disabled friendly and plenty of room to manoeuvre around! Delicious! 5*

I booked a table for two here about half an hour before arriving.My expectations of a Harvester are never especially high. The food is generally of an acceptable quality and the service can be hit or miss.On this occasion, however - my first visit to the Durley Inn - I was very pleasantly surprised.It was clear that at 4.30pm (so long after lunch and with a while to go until dinner), there wasn’t a massive staff presence. Staff were rushed off their feet whilst attending to so many customers but they still delivered a very friendly and attentive service.Our server, Emilia, was brilliant. Despite a busy restaurant, she made the time to chat, recommend dishes and knew the menu well. Little things in a restaurant can make the world of difference - we received an apology for the short time taken to reach us and we were asked about the enjoyment of our meals.The salad bar was well stocked and fresh and the portion size was enormous too. The bread rolls weren’t the best - tasting like they’d been there a while - so after one bite, I was done.The main meals were good. Again, a good portion size and the Simply Chicken could be doubled up for just £1.99 so very reasonable. My choice was the half chicken with chips, corn and gravy. The chicken was great, again tasted very fresh, and it was very filling too. I had started on the meal by the time I took the photograph - it wasn’t delivered looking so sparse!So great service and probably the best setting for a Harvester as well, sitting right on the beach, with lovely views over the water and towards the setting sun.

Having been before and know this place gets busy we booked for Sunday tea time. 4.45pm we were rushing as we had a gig to get to by 6ish at the BIC. Service was quick, food was cooked to order but still quick and great food, due to Covid the staff now put your salad into dishes for you. (great way to keep people safe). We left just after 6 full up and knew the walk to venue would do us good.

We went today with my sister around lunch time and honestly as usual food was amazing, beautiful views why else do you need. We’ve also been served by a lovely waitress named Mia. She was very sweet and helpful - outstanding customer service :)
