The Fish & Chip Plaice in Bournemouth

Third time and like the times before all as it should be. Tried different types of fish as well as battered sausages and the whole family liked it. Portions are larger than average and the prices very decent.However, the best element is the people serving you.. all very kind and just nice. Thank you for your hard and honest work guys.Update: owner changed in 2022, have not been there since.

Nice halal fish and chips, great service

Excellent locally chippy, serving quality cheap fish and chips as well as all the other classic options. Visiting gives me nostalgia of Friday nights with my dad, so very happy to have this a stone's throw from where we live.

I enjoy going here for a fish and chip supper, I find the fish and chips lovely, the batter is always light and the fish excellent, the owner is very friendly as is his staff, don't do a bad cup of tea either,

Discovered this place when trying to find halal fish and chips when at the beach in Bournemouth. Its about a 15 minute drive by car from the beach so you can take the food back and it will still be warm as everything is cooked to order.I couldn't find anywhere else nearer that was halal. Portions are big and food was very nice.Prices very reasonable, you will pay more than double these prices at any fish and chip shops near the beach.Owner was very polite and welcoming, will definitely come here now whenever I am at the beach.

Amazing fish and chips! Went to Bournemouth beach but decided to have fish and chips here and it was well worth it!! Great quality of fish! Nice and fresh and so light and tasty! The price was great too! The owner really looked after us and gave us such large potions! Would definitely recommend you visit if in Bournemouth.

The best fish and chip shop in bournemouth and halal. Only short ten minutes drive from the coastline but worth it. Parking at the rear of the shop or on side road. Lovely staff with a friendly attitude. Place was clean and there is also a customer toilet to wash your hands and freshen up before you eat.In my opinion I have eat at many chip shops across the United Kingdom but honestly this one is definitely number one. The food was cooked fresh and the portion are very generous. I brought three kids meals with drinks and two adults meal with mushy peas. Total bill £18. This is an absolute bargain.Folks please pay a visit to this place, you will not be disappointed.

Great tasting chips. Halal place. Battered jumbo sausage was very nice. Was worth the 4 Mile drive. They take card so no need to go cash point.

Alhamdulilah.A great place to eat, with everything (excluding the Pukka Pie range) being Halal....yes Halal battered sausages!...delicious!Decided to eat inside, food served on plates with proper cutlery. Everything is cooked to order so was perfect and piping hot...fish was perfect...the batter was crispy and tasty and the chips fluffy inside and perfect on the outside.The owner was very helpful, polite and the reason why this place is a success! IA he has many years ahead serving up delicious food.Pricing is as you would expect, portion sizes are very good and everything tasted perfect...all reasons why we will return and you should visit.Thank you!
