Had a Saturday lunch, of shepherds pie and my partner burger and chips. Great food lovely atmosphere, they made a fuss of our dog and gave him water. The Goram0% ale is amazing I’d rate it above Nanny State.

Staff are fantastic.Last Sunday went there for first time for Sunday lunch. Clearly they were short staffed and under pressure, however the staff were amazing at how they dealt with it and how they treated their customers was always friendly and welcoming. Definitely many return visits planned and recommending to others.

The drinks selection was great, good ambience and very friendly staff. Fab selection of board games too, that many of the punters enjoyed, and plenty of outside space with a covered pool table. Would definitely revisit

Popped into the pub after going to the cinema. Very friendly landlord and offered me a small sample of some the ales prior to buying. Definitely go again as he generates a lovely, friendly atmosphere.

The Goat and the Tricycle, beside having an interesting name is also a cosy and nice pub with a good selection of Beers 🍻 and good pub food. It isn't in the main street and maybe for this reason it isn't usually too crowded and has a better atmosphere.

Lovely place for food and drink. local drinkers were chatty, staff were friendly. dog friendly and great choice of beers.

Had a fantastic evening here, live music was brilliant. Amazingly stocked bar and very friendly service.Went following day for Sunday lunch and it was fantastic, good choice and large portions....Will becoming my regular haunt when in town....

Good old fashioned local pub with decent, tasty pub grub and real ales including taster beer selection. Just starting to bring back live music will be checking their Facebook page for band dates. Staff friendly and very accommodating to the extent of getting me a crystal tall glass instead of gin fish bowl for my g&t drink.

Best pub in Bournemouth without doubt. Excellent choice of real ales (including cider). Food looked decent, but didn't sample as having meals at our local hotel.
