Stayed for one night March 22.Excellent location for both the town centre and pier/ beach.Nice room modern decor and all nicely refurbished.Lovely bar with sky and bright sport and great choice of ales.Parking was on the road but we did find a space.Inexpensive for location and would use again.

Great pub, meals looked great but didn't eat as on meal deal with premier Inn. Staff friendly and good choice of drinks

Stayed for one night, room was big and clean but old style window rattled throughout the night. You cannot hear any noise from the bar below and once you have checked in you have your own enterance to the room so you dont have to walk throught the sports bar. It was not very clear on where and how to check in, you have to stand at the bar and wait to be served. Breakfast was lovely and included in the stay unless you wanted to upgrade then it was only £3.50, the service was slow and it took a while to get served even though it was not that busy. Although parking is free there are 3 spaces directly outside and i suspect they are used by staff. I would stay again.

The food and most of the staff here that we where served by where lovely and very welcoming, however one person stood out to us in not such a nice way. One of the waitresses wasn’t wearing appropriate clothing instead wore a blue crop jumper. She didn’t have her hair tied up and she walked around biting her nails. Further more she also stood behind the bar eating a pot of melon.. not very nice to see when it comes to food hygiene so although the food and most of the service was really really good, she let the experience down just because she doesn’t care and she wasn’t very welcoming at all.Apart from that the atmosphere was amazing!

Just had a great week at the Hop Inn. Rooms had everything you need. Cleaned and beds made daily by the lovely Kim. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Good food choices. Breakfast was delicious. 5 min walk from the beach. Lots of places to eat out, but book!

Liked the bottomless hot drink deal £2 a head, we sat outside under the pergola in the shade very pleasant. Food was usual pub fare, reasonably priced and arrived promptly.
