The Orchid Lounge Bar & Courtyard in Bournemouth

Hotel is in a great location with a short distance walk from the beach and about 10 minute walk from the town centre. There are a lot of other hotels in this particular area with plenty of stags and hens happening in the area. So generally the area can get noisy. However, it was very quiet in this hotel which was brilliant.The hotel has parking available on site, although it seems to a be a little limited.Staff are very friendly both at the desk and in the restaurant.Room was a sufficient size, very clean and generally great facilities inside.If in the area again, I would definitely book this hotel.

I stayed at the Orchid with my daughters. As soon as we arrived the lady on reception greeted us with a smile, she was very friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was only a short walk from the town and beach. We didn't have dinner or breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that. However, we had a lovely stay and would be happy to return.

Had an amazing time and would highly recommend this hotel. From the moment we arrived we received a smiley, friendly and warm welcome. Staff were always polite happy and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully decorated inside and out.We had the double with double bed room which was beautiful, extremely clean and spacious and had an amazing bathroom. Food from the restaurant is delicious and staff went out of there way to be as accommodating as possible to all and any request.Another welcomed bonus was the hotels great location just 5 minute walk to the seafront and 10 minute walk or 3 minute taxi into the town centre.Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our first time in Bournemouth.

I've visited The Orchid a few times now & decided it was the ideal place to celebrate my birthday with family and friends!It did not disappoint!We were a small party of 15 ladies who thoroughly enjoyed a scrumptious Afternoon Tea & Bottomless Cocktails / Prosecco!A really fabulous birthday treat ~ Thank you for great hospitality!

Excellent hotel in a very quiet neighbourhood within easy walking distance of east beach and town centre. Very good mid-week price with breakfast included. All reception and breakfast staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Bournemouth

Hotel for the wedding was fantastic and the complete hotel was booked for the weekend. The rooms we're spacious and warm but talking to other family guests they need checking for minor defects, this did not spoil the day. Main criticism was that despite several phone calls and emails before the day regarding gluten free food and being reassured that this was catered for we and several wedding guests felt let down. The hotel is a quality place to stay but would be a lot better if these issues where addressed.

Amazing hotel that is only a 5 minute walk away from the town center. My partner and I visit Bournemouth regularly and until this day we usually stayed in The Royal Bath Hotel but after our visit to The Orchid Hotel we will certainly be changing our regular spot!The bedroom was absolutely lush and the bed was an amazing size, we were upgraded free of charge which was a very welcome bonus.Next time we visit we will be sure to try the food that is on offer at The Orchid Hotel!Thank you for the magical stay!

I stayed here with my other half. A 5 minute walk from the bus stop, it was beautiful to walk onto the drive and see the lights outside.. we were greeted by a friendly general manager named Natalie who made us feel welcome. We were very excited to see a lovely sized bath and decent sized bed in room 117 and the room was so comfortable we ended up extending our stay by an extra night. We definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back. The rest of the team were extremely friendly and made the stay more welcoming. Such a great hotel! :)

Charlotte and her team really went the extra mile for a friends wedding I attended. The wedding breakfast service ran very efficiently and the food was piping hot. The hotel was very clean and looked as though it had been recently refurbished.Keep up the great work
