The Overcliff Oceana Pub & Kitchen in Bournemouth

Themed like a pub with a good selection of beers and a pub style menu basic but good food

Horrid grubby surroundings. Broken dirty windows. This was a Groupon bonking.Anniversary meal.Staff were OK.Food only average.Ordered gluten free burger, it was presented to me in two slices of bread.Unfortunately I cannot upload pictures. The only thing you could do was burst into laughter.I have no idea how so many staff could find this acceptable let alone the chef. . . .Just unbelievableTerrible

Slight view of horizon from window tables. Food is below standard.Service was non existent- at the end of our meal I had to go to the bar & stop the waiter as he walked past me. He then still made me wait before accepting payment

Very nice food and a lot of it as well .drinks were expensive and some music in the back ground would be good as all they had was a TV with sky sports on .we would go back again

Friendly helpful staff. Great food eaten here four times in a week and not had a bad meal, I do recommend the salmon.

Sloooooow table service in a relatively empty pub

Totally ignored at the barWe had a groupon voucher booked told to sit at a table nobody came after 20 mins we left, there were only 6 people in there!

Not very good if you drink Guinness took ages to pour a pint and would not listen to experienced advice

The venue itself is OK and the food and quality of drink is reasonable but I found the staff to really not care. It was the bar staff especially. I won't be recommending this place

Lovely staff and great food . Very kind people and massive portions ! Definitely recommended.
