The Riverside in Bournemouth

We came to the Riverside Inn based on reading other reviews, we where not disappointed, Julian & his team where very attentive to our requirements, food was served in a timely manner & piping hot. The only negative is that the lightning is not bright enough to read the menu, as I am short sighted my wife had to read it out as i could not see it. Shout out to Barbara the new waitresses, she did very well.

Had a fantastic evening out with Friend, the staff were superb and made us all feel really welcome and special, the food was great certainly a step up from what you would expect from a pub.A real gem of a place to eat out

My family and I have been here for a handful of birthday meals over the last 12months and the location and setting is great locally for us, with a varied menu with lots of options to choose from, for both kids and adults. A beautiful setting overlooking the River and a conservatory that opens up in the summer. Our waitor today josh was extremely helpful and we will be continuing to return for family meals out.

I popped in for some warmth and shelter. Staff were welcoming and accommodating which I very much appreciated on a very busy Sunday. Had 2 started and a mini dessert. Sticky chicken was incredible.

AMAZING!!!!! my boyfriend and I came here for Sunday lunch, we had tomato and balsamic soup to start, and then the chicken and the beef roasts (with extra sides). When I say it’s the best roast I have ever had; I mean it! 😊 Also, the scenery is beautiful, we were very lucky to sit in the conservatory on a beautiful sunny day and the views of the river were gorgeous! Also, I want to say a huge thank you to our fabulous waitress, Debbie, she was extremely lovely, very charming and added a touch of humour! We also want to thank her for her recommendation to visit Burley while we were visiting the area, so all in all she made 2 of our days really fantastic! To all the managers there your chefs and Debbie are an asset to your wonderful team ☺️

Very pleasant service, delicious food and a great view of the river. Also allergy-friendly - our server had immediate access to allergen information for all menu items.
