Toby Carvery in Bournemouth

Food was lovley but service was a little thin manager sat us but no mention of drinks or anything waited 5 /10 min then decided to get food first. Got our food sat down I got up to speck to a waitress about drinks she told me it's not her section. Was half way thow are food when we got asked. If we wanted drinks.(all the stars are for food)

Went for my first ever Carvery here. It was okay. Granted, I went during a very busy evening period. Staff were friendly, despite understandably appearing a little stressed, they were smiley and attentative. However, there were no beef dripping potatos when I went, and the gravy was very watery (is this normal for toby carvery gravy? surely not?!). Free parking just make sure you put your reg in the machine. The atmosphere was nice though.

Good value for a relatively good lunch. Meats tender. Turkey could have been hotter. Cauliflower was cold but it was the last in the dish. Maybe you can refresh them sooner. Roasties perfect.Staff very friendly from walking in to being served and taking payment. The main server at the carvery very polite and professional and welcoming.

It was a Wednesday night, luckily we had booked a week ahead as it was extremely busy and a note on the door said fully booked...Toby had released a coupon offer in the press we were not aware of.The carvery queue was back to the bar, slow moving. However, the food was hot and good when we ate. Waitress took our bar order. Normal bar drinks or bottomless soft drinks from a machine near to the carvery area.The wait staff were very busy but our waitress had a brief chat and genuine smile .Why a 3 star, because at the time you were still required to wear a mask if walking around in a food place and whilst signs were up very, very few wore one and it made me uncomfortable particularly at the carvery area.

Excellent eat-as-much-as-you-like buffet breakfast for only £5. Just be aware that you pay an extra £2.50 for tea or coffee. Friendly polite staff, great food & great value for money. I was really impressed.

Breakfast was yum, definitely stayed longer than we planned, having a catch up with friends but as the place wasn't 2 busy we weren't made to feel unwelcome or that we needed to leave. Everyone was very polite and helpful. But when the lunch started being served we knew it was time to go 🤣

Parking was easy. None of the staff we encountered looked like they wanted to be there. A good 10 minute wait for a chef. Servers walking past 4 of us waiting at the carvery but no one called for service. Food was surprisingly good, hence 3 stars. Yet again, some of the hand sanitiser stations were empty. Very annoying. Soap dispenser in the ladies toilet too. Not good during this time!

First time here & we were pleasantly surprised. The meat choices included Lamb which was a surprise. The meat portions given was good & a good choice of vegetables was on offer. The vegtables could have been hotter but that's the trouble with carveries.We would return if in the area again.

Very average carvery. Meats and vegetables looks like been reheated from previous days. Male waiter very arrogant with no manners. Female waitress was polite and professional. Table was very sticky. We definitely won't be returning.

Plenty of car parking space. Comfortable ,welcoming atmosphere.The staff were friendly and provided a prompt service. The meat was very soft and succulent and there was a good choice of both meat and vegetables. There was a choice of vegetarian gravy and meat gravy.The desserts were delicious and we were very happy with our choices. We feel that we had good value for our money.We definitely will go there again.😊😊😊
