WestBeach in Bournemouth

The risottos and the mussels were amazing. The food took quite some time and the soup we ordered as a starter didnt arrive until the main courses came. The calamari was a small portion considering its price and they tasted like they weren't fresh. One of the meals we ordered was the prawns one. Only one word can be utilised to describe it: terrible. The prawns were stale and they were served with a simple salad and terribly cooked fries. I was furious at the fact that such a terrible dish cost 24 pounds and my risotto cost 22. This place is overrated and I dont recommend eating there to anyone.

We sat outside in January using blankets the restaurant supplied. It was blissful. My partner's eggs royale were delicious while I had berries and granola with maple syrup. Service was cheerful and prompt. If I'm in Bournemouth I'll come here for brunch and the quality doesn't falter.

Yummy food, and Staff very friendly

Bit expensive but as it's literally beside the pier in Bournemouth the prices weren't too bad.Service was great but payment was a little unusual as you order at the outside bar but wait for the drinks to be delivered. You are not able to take your drinks to the table yourself.

Great place, amazing service, really good quality food, very reasonably priced.We went for breakfast with my other half and I have to say the service from start to end was very friendly and pleasant.The coffee was very good, the breakfast was very tasty and high quality.Big well done and keep up the great work

We had a great time at WestBeach restaurant. The food was terrific and the restaurant staff were friendly & attentive. Seafood is the order of the day although alternatives are available. My partner and I settled for Fritto misso and scallops for starter - they were very good; tiger prawns for main - delicious; as a bonus our table ordered a whole lobster to try and it was delicious; finally we had chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and panna cotta - very nice. Highly recommended.

Foods are overrated. We booked a table for 1pm and waited almost an hour to get our foods, one crab and tiger prawn. Prawn was good but the crab with weird mayonnaise sauce? Come on, you should've kept its original taste. The sauce ruined everything. Dont order crab it is not worth

Amazing food, very good quality, it was a bit slow, but it didn't matter because the view to the sea is great. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I really recommend the fish of the day.

An impromptu lunch on a hot, sunny day - sat inside to escape the heat. Marko, our server, was the perfect blend of friendliness, efficiency & professionalism. In fact all of the staff seemed the same. The food was excellent and the surrounding really smart. Given its location so close to the beach it exceeded my expectations.

Made the mistake of arriving with Crohn's disease and an affected appetite. I was refused being able to order from the children's menu, so I had the choice between a bowl of chips or a massive meal. I went with the chips and won't be back. W need to review their child menu policy ASAP.
