Bocabar in Bristol

Oh what a horrible experience out here. First of all they took ages to get you your order, secondly, the lady just slammed the cappuccino we ordered on the table showing absolutely no courtesy whatsoever. Nonchalant / borderline rude behavior from the staff. Lastly, they automatically add service tip without your consent onto the bill which I find ridiculous. I've no issues whatsoever in offering the tip if the service is good but this was just ridiculous. Also, the brownie was a solid rock even a knife wouldn't cut it easily and the quiche arrived cold. Absolutely avoid this place unless you're dying from hunger and you need to eat lol.

Great pizza and staff. We used Bocabar for our bar and evening pizza snacks for our wedding the in the Paintworks Eventspace and they were great. We've also eaten their amazing pizza before and always been super happy!

This place has a such a great vibe. Each time i have been here the staff have been super friendly and accomodating. They had a good selection of Alcohol Free beers which is great rather than a token effort. Beware they are big portions (Chips and Dips). The Pizza's are absolutely delicious! I can see Bocaba being a regular hang out and some where I can take my laptop at times to work. Recommend.

Crazy expensive...... walked out feeling I'd had my pants pulled down to be honest. They automatically put a service charge on top of already overpriced pizzas and beers, you have to ask to remove it.... shouldn't have to ask, if a customer wants to tip, they will tip. £46 for two pizzas and two drinks wowzers.... cool vibe in the place is all its got going for it.

I fell in love with this place! I drive from Baht half hour to sit here and relax and do my work. The people who work here seem to actually love working there and they are all so friendly! Food is amazing!!! Chicken Wrap, Sausage sandwich, fish stew (I didn't try the original fish stew, I hope I would. They changed menu before I could try this fish stew )))) I tried the replacement moules creamy stew with fishcake, honestly food is amazing!but the best part of this place is the happy people around you, everyone is so relaxed and enjoying their times, a lot of moms with babies and never that noisy, just a great vibe!I would be making half hour trips to sit in this atmosphere! Love it!

Bocabar is a great mix of cafe, bar and restaurant. The staff are always very friendly and the pizzas are particularly good. Would recommend trying the Jubel lager and the Calzone is excellent. Wait times can get a little long at busy periods, so leave yourself some time if you are seeing a show afterwards in the event space.

Very nice place to have pizza. Big warehouse with amazing seats. We had some pizzas and craft beers. Best pizza in Bristol in my opinion.

Really good roast, lovely staff and a great venue. Really liked the vibe of this place will definitely be going back.

I Stumbled across this place by accident as the place we set out for was closed. Wasnt sure by outside appearance but as we had walked a distance we gave it a try. Wow. What a gem. Lovely atmosphere. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great craft beers and the pizzas! I travel all over country for work. These pizzas best ever. Cant recommend highly enough. Dont get to Bristol much. But next time I will go out of my way for this place. 5 stars not enough.

Although there was a slight mix up with the order, when it arrived, the meal itself was delicious. The staff couldn't be more apologetic and quickly remedied the issue. Well done all👍
