I visited there with a friend for a dine in on a weekend evening. Clean environment and not noisy to have a good conversation. Food came out in about 15 minutes after putting our orders in. Server was great and attentive. House lamb Biryani was great. Overall would visit again.

Regularly order from here because the food is so good. I’ve eaten in once and the staff were lovely. The tandoori chicken curries are especially amazing and good portion sizes all round. The only thing I’d say is I wish the nan breads were more soft and fluffy; they are a bit thin and crispy but the rest of the food makes up for it anyhow.

My partner and I went to have a late dinner to Bombay Boulevard on Sunday night. We ordered the chicken balti, mixed vegetable and naan. The food was not great but it tasted fine and the prices were quite low. However, when we returned home after dinner, our stomach started hurting and its been hurting for the last 3 days now, we had to take medicines for the cramps and nausea so we felt better. I called the restaurant today to give them feedback on this instead of posting a review straight away (as I don't usually post reviews online) - the chef/owner that I spoke to (who also was preparing the food the day we went to the restaurant) had a very disappointing attitude. He first started by saying sorry then went on to convince me how it must be something else and couldn't have been his food as this is the first time they are hearing of this and they served others that day too. He started telling me maybe I have not had Indian food in the UK before or I am new to the UK, thats why my stomach reacted weirdly. As someone of Indian heritage, I found this offensive as I frequently eat Indian food at home and additionally have been to many other Indian restaurants in Bristol and outside the UK too, I have never had such an experience before. Our experience was horrible and the way the restaurant handled it made it even worse. Definitely won't be going back to Bombay Boulevard again!

My husband nearly had his teeth crumbled because his naan was served with extra helping of oven stones😳😳😳 the restaurant chef or owner took a very lackadaisical approach to this nightmare coming true saying sorry, never happened before. it was only after we repeatedly said one of his tooth chipped that they decided not to charge anything for his food. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of concern they showed of what could have happened and for the upset caused. The food was very much mediocre and not worth the price. I would steer away if I were you

Good track and trace posters with QR however, no staff was wearing a 😷 mask. That is probably unacceptable in restaurants.Silent little place in Denmark street which is open till late. It was quiet but the food was good. The Rogan josh was packed with tomatoy flavours and was oozing with spice. It tasted awesome with naan and rice. The seekh kebab was ok but didn’t appear to be anything fresh.

Ordered delivery, came pretty quick but some items missing. They did get the missing items delivered within about 10 minutes which was good but really disappointed with the quality of the food. Chicken was extremely dry and all dishes were completely tasteless, we had about 5 bites before we gave up and put it in the bin. Very disappointed and still waiting for our refund. I can't even say we are hungry because the food has made us lose our appetite. Do not recommend.

Very good mains and superb side dishes as so often the rice needs working on , you always feel it's a little bit old, a little ghee on it would probably work wonders otherwise the place is a little gem . Lamb madrass best I have eaten in years and I have eaten a lot!

The restaurant was empty when we arrived, but we thought, given the positive reviews, we might have caught it on a quiet night.Sadly, we gave it a go and it was extremely disappointing. No music, ambience or welcoming atmosphere. Chef was sat on a seat behind us as we sat down...his waitress was extremely friendly and helpful but sadly working within his instructions.Music was put on begrudgingly after we asked and the food was probably the worst Indian food I have ever tasted. I tried the chilli jay fry which was very artificially sweet and the rice was...well, rice. There was really nothing at all very impressive here. Then the bill arrived and immediately we felt completely ripped off....please beware, this place will charge for a premium experience and deliver far less, I will never go back I'm afraid.

Moderate seating and decorations. We went on a Saturday evening and it was very quiet.Food is average, if you are looking for Indian taste. A few items on the menu are nice though.Price is reasonable. The washrooms and seating need to be better though.
