Came here to try out what Bristol's Indian food is like and I was very easily impressed by Achari Indian Kitchens food. Every dish has it's own unique touch to it and the taste is just fresh and authentic. I really walked out of here with a smile on my face and a full stomach. Thank you Achari, for your awesome service.

Just had delivered via Deliveroo. Was really nice. Best biriyani we have had from anywhere! Really enjoyed all of it but especially the lamb chops. My only issue was getting the lid off the top of the small sauce pots. But overall excellent

I ordered chicken shashlik from this restaurant today. This is totally not what I expected. Looks like some red food color is sprinkled for the sake of look with uncooked chicken. Couldn't find garlic in garlic naan. It was literally like a rubber. I am not going to order anything from your restaurant ever. Do not recommended this restaurant to Indian foodies in Bristol as well. I wanted to give zero star but this option is unavailable so just a star.

Excellent Indian food for starters.Habib the waiter skilfully manages on his own over 30 diners and lots of deliveries. Take your own Alcohol and choose between chocking on the cooking smells or freezing by the open door. Fawlty towers of the restaurant world. Brilliant 😂

So not only we waited for over an hour for our food to be delivered so i thought they must be very good as they are so busy but omg.. we had many, many curries in our time and have to say this one was by far the worst! My korma and my daughters Tikka Masala was soooo sweet I only had a bit of it as it was too sickening!!! Who puts so much sugar into the curries????? If I want a dessert I would order dessert!!! 2 stars are my husband's Rogan josh as he said it was OK.We were really hungry and were looking forward to this as the previous rewievs were really good but it was just a big disappointment or maybe we are used to much better quality Indian cuisine as we have some great restaurants near our home.- Jarvis and Monika

We came as a group of four and we ordered lamb aubergine, shashlik special korai, chicken dhansak and aubergine and chana. This just made us want to come and explore more of the dishes in Achari as our dishes were delicious. What a great experience.

Easy to book, quick to serve, and tasty to eat. The place could be a bit nicer decorated and cleaner but all in all it was good experience. Very nice staff.

Best Indian food I've had in a long time. Friendly, helpful staff, cosy restaurant. I'm especially impressed by their Naans, incredibly light. Can already feel the need to order a takeaway from them very soon!

Achari Indian Kitchen had become one of our favourite orders from Uber Eats. However, the other evening we ordered a vegan Aubergine Bhaji and it arrived with lamb in it. We couldn't eat it, so had to throw it away. When we phoned the restaurant to let them know and they put me on hold and then hung up on me. Such poor service. I wouldn't recommend ordering if you have a food intolerance etc as I wouldn't trust them to send the correct order.

Dropped in without a booking right in the middle of seemingly all the Xmas parties ever. However the guys sorted us, and my friend and I sat down to a curry which pleasantly surprised me.A bring your own alcohol restaurant, so you'll need to pop into the offlicense around the corner beforehand, the poppadoms are lovely, the mango chutney has just the right spice, and the lime pickle was fantastic. The curry itself, great - Chilli Paneer was very good, large chunks of paneer itself, not too oily, but a bit heavy on the onion. Lamb Saag was a treat, but as always, I try to not think about the meat quality (and where it came from) too much by being a bit drunk by the main course. The plain rice was just right, and helped balance the oil in the mains. The restaurant itself was fairy modern for a curry house, but frankly I don't go to a curry house to be wowed by its decor - as long as the toilet doesn't look like a slum then it's fine.Pretty sure I'll return, and likely I'll order a takeout.
