Excellent fish and chips cooked to order in a very clean and friendly shop. Large cod is MASSIVE!! Highly recommended.

Generous portion of chips, enormous piece of fish. Gravy was watery and tasteless, zero stars for the gravy.Would recommend.

Really enjoyed the fish and chips from Chandos Fish Bar. The portions were very good, reasonably priced for takeaway, fish was succulent and juicy, good clean oil, fresh chips and the chef/server was lovely. Will have to make this a regular lunchtime treat! Placed the order on the phone and was ready in 15 minutes fresh and lovely. Thank you.

Lovely fish and chips tonight. Tasted like it was cooked in good, clean oil. Very crispy batter, succulent cod, delicious golden chips. Great service too. Hooray.

Absolutely delicious. Best chippy in Bristol. Just got her delivered and it was hot, crispy and generally fabulous. I'm steaming but I'm still hard to please.

Fantastic fish and chips. We tend to go weekly and the food is consistently very good. Really well presented shop, always very clean inside and friendly staff too. Hard to beat!

Passed some chaps whose meal looked lovely. After directing me to this ‘plaice’, I opted to try it out with simple chips and curry sauce. Sorry to say it was soggy and bland (Needs salt when steaming/boiling before frying). Lumpy curry sauce. Also he tried to overcharge me. He did correct my change after I called him out on it. Maybe it’s better if your not the one of the last customers before they close for lunch, maybe it was a one off! Based on reviews, I Will be back to try the fish and hopefully they redeem themselves on the chips!

Great prices, big and top quality portions, friendly service! A regular code is longer than a standard dinner plate. Their tartare sauce is a personal favourite.
