Today I bought 2 large fish and chips and they were over priced for the portion served. The fish was flaky and very nice butter but the chips were slightly over done

Sub standard food. This cost ÂŁ10 with chips and I expect the box would've tasted better... I'm not one for complaining usually but this has unleashed my FULL KAREN.The sketchy piece of cod resembled perhaps the leather from an old boot and the chips weren't even hot. I live 2 minutes down the road from this establishment and I will not be returning anytime soon. They weren't serving burgers and the sausages they had left looked drier than Clint Eastwood in ANY of his old westerns. It's a nope from me. In Pride month too! In this economy?!?! I don't think.I'll be happier travelling further for better, cheaper food that I'll actually enjoy.Kthxbye.

Absolute rubbish!!! Dried out chips and piece of fish that isn’t even big enough for a breast feeding child. On top of all that, prices are ridiculous. The curry sauce was possibly the best I’ve ever had, however I didn’t travel out just to have curry sauce.Would not recommend. There are tens of chip shops in Bristol that deserve better recognition

Absolutely disgrace service! Very miserable and looks like don’t want to serve us. This youngsters just don’t understand the level of commitment and the value of their job. Such a shame! If you don’t want to work then don’t work, give someone else the job who will deserve it and will enjoy the value of the work. They’re one of the reason businesses are closing because they’re too lazy and not eager doing any job. Also signs says no.1 fish and chips restaurant? As Gordon Ramsay always says “don’t own the title if you can’t provide it consistently” if you are going to put signs that you are number 1? Then you might as well hire Kim kardashians so it matches well for faking it.Food was old and reheated for too long. Sausages tasted like it was cooked last year! So dry and solid! So called no.1 fish and chips restaurant? Take your sign off and put a “not sure when we can serve you best” depends on the mood of the staff if they can be bother. What a waste of a business!!

The smells through Clifton makes it seems great especially when you are drunk. But it’s the 4th time in a row we have tried it and it’s virtually inedible! Go to the famous one in Bedminster! Sausages are so cheap and disgusting here. Oily horrible fish, no chicken - just yuck 🤮 curry sauce is so rubbish. Waste of money. All thrown in the bin.

Gravy tasted of nothing. Cornish pasty had zero flavour. Chips were soggy. Probably one of the worst chip shop meals I’ve ever had.

We are currently working in this area where the choice for delicious food is very good. Of course Friday's are our fish on Friday day and being local builders we believe there is no other place to eat well cooked chunky chips with Scrumptious Cod prepared and cooked to perfection in a light but crispy batter served with mushy peas.On a sunny day you can also sit outside and take in the vibrant Clifton Village scene. Bring on Fridays!!

My Favourite Fish & Chips shop in Bristol. I definitely buy my dinner from here 2-3 times a month. Their fish and chips are always nicely cooked and crispy. I always buy their homemade tartar sauce as an extra treat. They are also well priced for the quality they offer.

Busy fish and chips bat close by the suspension bridge. This does not mean it is a bad quality touristic hotspot. This is a proper Fisk bar with good quality fish, fries and a variety of different menu items to choose from. Staff is friendly and they have to go as well.
